I think I might have liked Batman beyond more than I actually liked Batman: The animated series. I'm not sure why, but something about it stuck with me all those years ago. (Not to say BAS was bad in any regard I just simply like this better.) Maybe it was the visuals or the fact that i slightly like Terry over Bruce, I dunno.

Also, since It's been talked about so much. I'm just going to say, that as much as I love my childhood cartoons, I like the some of the new ones too.

@Mikepwns112 Actually, you know something I've found kind of funny. The cartoons (or at least the Arkham games, which I think are based off of the cartoons) play around with the question of whether or not Batman is insane, and the adult, "more mature" Nolan movies haven't.

Think about it, that would be an interesting thing they could do. (Btw, I know that the third Nolan movie isn't out yet, but I doubt they'll do it there. If they do, however, I'll be genuinely suprised.

To be honest the villains and storylines in BTAS were alot more complex and well developed. Especially the episodes that showed you the origins of Mr. Freeze, Two Face, Clayface...etc. Robin's Reckoning was also a great episode that really caught my attention when I was a kid. However I would be lying if I said BB was nowhere near as good. They are both really awesome shows to watch back in the day. Oh, and the theme here is so badass.
