Superb film; I signed professional at the end of 1973, floundering in the reserves until 1979, playing many games in the Football Combination and replacing hundreds of divots on this pitch when I was an apprentice (under the guidance of Roy Francis!). Brings back so many great memories....
brings back memories my first game was 75/76 2nd home game of the season vs aston villa i now live near genova and sometimes go to watch sampdoria play but i do really miss you qpr
Good use of Thomas Newman's music from American Beauty. Very eerie watching this and how the ground use to look. Must be bring back and evoke strong memories for fans.
WOW what a great piece of film. i watched my first piece of action from the balcony of the flats behind the school end. Must have been at around about this time. Never stood in the old loft but the first game I went to was in 79 when i sat in the Ellerslie Road stand with my dad. Happy days. Thanks for posting this.
