When I got to the first little sister I harvested because I could not help it, I was so sad because she said " I gonna tell the other girls I have the best daddy!" she died do I wasn't.

@RosesofWillows it's kind of a network that Little Sisters can travel through Rapture without the protection of a Big Daddy (or in this case, can travel safely at any point, giving you resources when you need as a reward for saving them)

The best part about not harvesting them is that the little sister's reward you with more adam as a thank you, so you get the same amount of adam AND do the right thing. And has anyone else noticed how the little sister's in BioShock 2 are cuter than in BioShock? 2k/Irrational gave their faces a makeover.

I've never, ever been able to bring myself to harvest the sister when others can. I know its just a game and all but, sometimes, games like these tend to show just what kind of a person you really are. It either brings out the best of you...or the worse.

I rescued a little sister so i follow her to whichever vent she went to, right before she got inside a splicer hit her and knocked her out. I shot the splicer up with all at my disposal and i turned around and she was gone. (I wasn't that close to the vent so she wouldn't have enough time to slip in there.) WADDA EFF!!!!

I don't know why people harvest them. Harvesting them doesn't give you much more ADAMs. It's much better saving them. You get a lot more benefits, a good ending, and a great feeling in you for saving little children.

@GW4GTA Actually, I think most people would choose to harvest if they were in Jack's or Delta's situation. Rapture is a terrifying place to be stuck in, and when people are afriad, we tend to care more about our lives than our humanity. Most people are slaves to their own survival.

I think one of the biggest senses of accomplishment I got from this game was getting the Achievement Brass Balls and not having to harvest a single Little Sister. I agree with most folks here, I could never bring myself to harvest them in BioShock 2. They trust and adore you, and it just tears your heart apart.
