Why Root My Android Smartphone?

Yo I root my phone and its a Acer Mr s120 and its not working and its was 2.2 now its 2.3.6 and its show the is in my abut phone and i cant not boot from sdcard how can I do I us the sorrowful email oerlemans420@gmail.com or Adam.oerlemans@Yahoo.com and what can i do to fix this someone help me

Even if you don't understand most (or any) of this info you do know (by watching this) that we are getting ripped off by all corporate commercial name brands.

In the long run only 2% of the public will be able to decipher what is really being handed down here in this video, so the major carriers will still come out on top. They know that 98% of viewers will never go here.

At the very least this is not China: we do get exposed to this info. And realize just what we are missing out on.

don't mean to be a dick, but to comment on your facts about iPhones. You can't "kind of" jailbreak it. You can fully jailbreak it and add anything and everything that you want. Wifi tether, ssh, terminal, iFile to see the root of your phone, roms, customizations, tweaks, and hell..even apps if you want to go that route. Nice vid though, I want the S2 so I can have the best of both worlds.

Yep! Tethering is free for me in Australia too, I believe on most carriers. It's infuriating to see them trying to charge for it... It seemed like it was going to be a problem here too but then they kinda pulled back on it after the first iPhone.

Don't pay them for that BS.

I've heard verizon will block all your web access because it can tell that you're tethering.

@zedomax I tried something tike a flash drive but you insert a micro SD card, that seemed to work. My ext HD doesn't have a power supply, its powered by the computer. I guess that makes sense to why it doesn't work on a phone.

With great responsibility comes up with problems but if your not afraid then u could surpass it like nothing just do some reading. Hey Max,

You should also do a video on the downside to rooting your smart phone... like that if you take your phone in and they see it's rooted, they won't fix it. You will void your warranty. Mine is rooted so I'm not being a turd in the punch bowl, I just want everyone to understand what they're doing before they do it, and what the ramifications might be.

The stock frequency is 998400 im running mines at 614400 no reason to overclock it i play no games. also if want to set ur virtous oc u have to use terminal emulator but then again u have to learn the frequencies 2 set them.
