I don't think you can use an action replay device with the 3 in 1.There are ways use cheats on GBA games by patching it.

@SgtThom you sure? the 3-in-1 just acts like a GBA cart, right? Also, I want to get a lite version of the ez-flash and then use a gameshark and GBA with it. That way it doesn't stick out of the DS and i can still use it in my GBA.

The main reason why the Ds can't play GBA games directly slot 1 is because in GBA mode,the slot 1 is disabled.Also,the Ds doesn't emulate the GBA; it have hardware to for backward compatibility for GBA games.

1. Mario Kart does not have rumble, Diddykong Kart does.

2. Ram is useful for loading GBA games for emulation, or homebrew that uses it as well.

3. You do not download gba roms from the internet, that would be illegal.

O, also do you have to do snes emulation, or gens emulation through the ezflash or can you go through slot 1?

GBA roms are usually about 2.3?mb. The largest I have come across is 6mb for street fighter alpha 3. You can run snes & gens emulation through slot 1.

@iwakura Is there any way to use Codebreaker or GameShark codes with the GBA games like a cheat file VisualBoyAdvance uses. I did try a cheat patch on a GBA rom but this only worked on a few games.Speaking of Codebreaker and Gameshark, after if you move a GBA game to the EZFlash 3-in-1 (with NOR) you can place it into a GS or CB turned off and it will fit into a Gameboy player for Gamecube and the GBA game will boot up in it so the games can be played on a TV just like a real GBA. game.

honestly I'm not sure. R4's are all pretty bad... In theory it should, because you would use a homebrew app to transfer files from the R4i to the EzFlash, but I don't want to make any promises wihtout testing it myself...

About the additionnal RAM; Is it possible to browse internet without needing this RAM expansion? I've just ordered an R4 off the internet and I was wondering if I'd be eable to browse internet using it and an homebrew app. Will I need the EZflash expansion to make it work, or would it only make my browsing experience more fluid?

If you use a homebrew app, the browsing is limited and flawed, and most of them don't load any pictures.

with the RAM expansion you can use the opera browser that nintendo released

Hey iwakura, right now I'm using an EZ-FLASH III cartridge in slot 2, and it works fine, but the gba display isn't full screen like a ds game,

if i upgrade my ezflash cartridge, will the gba game play full screen like a ds game? is there any way to go full screen?

Nope, gba wont take up the full screen. It's because the screen resolution sizes for GBA and DS are different, they aren't the same ratio. There will always be the blank spaces on the top and bottom of the screen. Sorry!
