You cannot cue.

Cue is basically the ability to listen to the track playing in another deck without it playing to the audience, if you havent got a headphones jack, you wont be able to listen to the track your about to introduce.

This is ideal for locating a part you want to use, check the BPM not only matches but sounds right, also when adjusting your H, M and L tones getting the blend right

@DJCartong Why would he work without the SYNC buttons? They are there for a reason. Wont let them go to waste! BUT - I do agree with you. A good DJ (with a lot of experience - This guy started last year) should be able to mix without the SYNC buttons on his decks and his DJ program.

@DJCartong I agree with toffee turtle that its ok to use them.. idk if you have a mixtrack pro also... buttt the pitch faders suckk sooo much.. maybe it's because i haven't messed around with the sensitivity much, but from what i have tried its near impossible to beatmatch with the those.. so the sync button is essential for the mixtrack pro =P

I know you have the Mixtrack pro, but i was wondering if you would know if it is possible to change the EQ kills on the mixtrack to hot cues like the mixtrack pro has. for some reason on the regular mixtrack it comes with EQ kills in the place of the hot cues.

@LilB4LiFe64 Try downloading Serato DJintro because my mixtrack pro has EQ kills and when i use Serato they are replaced by hot cues. + its free download. i had automatic mappin for the mixtrack pro im prettty sure it has it aswelll for the standerd mixtrack

Hey, any chance you could make a video or even just describe how you line up 2 tracks of different tempos? do you use the sync and simply use your techniques to mix the 2 songs back and forth then use the wheels to line up which spots in the song you want to play/ then drop in your ques when needed?

The cutting was something I hadn't seen done this way before which is why I made my first YouTube tutorial. I tend to just download music I like, if it's a good mixing track then that's a bonus :)
