Anti-venom is when Eddie Brock, who had cancer, meets up with Mr. Negative in the hospital. With a single touch, Mr. Negative cures Brock of the cancer, but also unknowingly bonds the little remnants of symbiote cells to Eddie's white blood cells.
After either being broken out of the hospital or released, he comes face to face with venom. The symbiote tries to rebound to Eddie, but is repelled when Brock's pores ooze a white substance that harms the symbiote. Soon, anti-venom is born.
Now, the special white-blood "symbiote" (it's not really a symbiote, more like a copy) is able to "cure" any host of their symbiosis. So Brock is able to rid Scorpion of the venom symbiote except for a few bits that are currently hiding and repairing themselves in his upgraded scorpion suit. Eddi in the mean time, tries to "cure" Spider-Man of the small remnants of symbiote in his blood, but also drains him of his radioactive powers. So he stops, and they both find that if he is too close...
Then he can literally make Spidey lose his powers (whether temporarily or permanently is unknown) Now Anti-Venom is out on a "crusade" of sorts to not only be more good and make up for his past grievances, but also to cure any hosts of their symbiotes, and defeat the venom symbiote for good
