oh god we played this at junior district year and let me tell you, you did much better than what we did. our performance of this was flat out embarassing cuz our conductor didnt know how to conduct this song.

I played that piece in Senior District Orc. it sounded better but this is still pretty good

JRO actually took place at my school this year (Albemarle High) and so I got to be one of the ushers and such. Hearing Baltic Dance was so cool cuz I played it last year in 8th grade, under Mrs. Finnegan, who directs at both my middle school and at Albemarle. In fact, our principal cellist got to pick the three audition excerpts for the cello =). You guys did a fantastic job!

all in all, for 7th-9th graders, we did pretty well. if you think about it.

we're playing this at my high school for state large group this year. we're really excited! the other school in our district is playing it too though but Mrs. R is really pushing us.

and violins were so much better last year. i was definitely so much better last year. We didn't sound terrible, though!!

Speak for yourself! All i know is that the last chair second violin was pretty flippin amazing (although a little bit beaten thanks to Esther)

I remember JRO last year.... fun times. I don't really remember anything, except that I didn't really enjoy that Pretty Little Horses song (most likely cuz my stand partner got a solo and I was jealous XD) and that the Fiddler's Fury song was the awesomest thing on the planet.
