Does it really matter? he is the President of the United States, he holds a US passport, it's not his fault if he once held some sort of British overseas citizens rights, or even if he still has claims to or eligible for a British passport.

He is by any real means American, his family on his mother's side was from England, so are most Americans, look at your History.

There is nothing wrong with being British, ask me, he is NOT British, in some ways he probably has fondness for the UK.

he did show it, obama sent a copy to the hawaii dept of health (for those who dont know, that is where the certificates are issued)Janice Okubo from that office verified it. the Hawaii secretary of state verified it also. so what does he have to do? go on a 50 state tour with the birth certificate to allow every person to see it. he posted it online then atleast two legitimate Hawaii state employees verified it. that has removed any doubt in my mind
