I honestly prefer to see without motion capture but i guess sometime time does not allow them to animate on their own coz it will be taking too much time.

That is one of my all time favorite CG movies, but I have to say that the title is a bit misleading. I not once saw a chocobo or a dancing cactus or cactaur or anything resembling a FF character... unless you count Cid, who really only bared the name.

The movie IMO was good, it just didn't need to bear the title "Final Fantasy".

@darthxemnas been saying that for a long time; if they had just called it The Spirits Within and billed it as a sci-fi flick it would have done better. People went expecting a Final Fantasy movie like one of the games.
