I've operated a few of these at differant mines I've worked at. The 992 was at one time the largest rubber tired loader in the world. Its been surpassed by the 994 and a few other brands now have bigger loaders. Still, in its day it was the king.....

i dont understand what everyone is so worked up for. just a regular front loader from a transfer station in northern Jersey. Big deal. there are no reference points in this video. If i take my camera really close to my go-kart and really low to the ground it will look gigantic as well. The car behind the loader only adds to the optical illusion because it is the fartherst from the camera.

Um yeah, park a 988H next to it bud, Ive done various repairs on these machines and I'm telling you wow, you have know idea how big these machines are, tires are close to 9ft tall, 5ft wide, wiegh prolly 4000lbs a peice, some come with up to 20yd buckets, a Triaxle dump with a 16ft box can legally only haul about 15yds, so that tells you how much material these machines can lift with one bite, using the Cat 3412, which has evolved over the years, this is one tough large machine.
