Earlier this school year, some marines came to my school and had my peirs play call of duty with them. I COULN'T BELIEVE IT! That is NOT what war is like! There are no respawns, no second tries, I'm posting this on my facebook to show them what happens to people who go to war so they can really decide if they are ready to go. Thank you so much for this!

I respect the people who fought in the war, but I still think that the Vietnam war shouldn't have been fought.

Vietnam was an an example of what can happen when Americans are too unconcerned to care about their countrymen and countrywomen who have to die in these wars, or too weak or spineless to take a stand against them.

Vietnam ensured that Americans would never go down that road again.

Never again in, right? Not in *our* lifetimes, right?

@caulds Weak and spineless? I believe that America saw the greatest number of rallies, and anti war activism to date during those years. Also, America's veterans deserve to be honored for serving their country. Because there was a draft, the US military was mostly a conscript army. So this makes me wonder if these are the same "weak and spineless" american citizens that you're talking about?

my uncle came back from Nam all messed up. he's still not the same. they tied a VC to a tree and took a slice out of him every hour until he gave up info. He never talked and they cut his throat. my unc still has nightmares of getting his throat sliced

It is really amazing what theese men have done for us, and the memories and fears they still have i wish we could help..
