That's right, it's from Lou Reed's album 'Transformer'; the original vinyl edition of 1972. This early version of 'Walk of the Wildside' contains the line '..and the coloured girls go...' which was changed or left out in later versions (probably for reasons of political correctness). So there you go. Lovely track, isn't it?
