  • I wish I could have seen Greg Sage play, but I was too young. Never the less, these albums have changed my life forever. Thank you Greg Sage / Wipers!

  • oh boy, this is my favourite song these days

  • Just listen...feel it...great

  • This is one of Sage's most furious pieces of guitar shrapnel.Saw 'em up and down the East Coast in '87,will never forget it.Check out his 1985 solo release "Straight Ahead',tremendous.Just a Dream Away,On the Run,Just Say,When It's Over,No one Wants an Alien,Window Shop for Love,Illusion Fades,Follow Blind, way too many more to list.Sage is probably the only guy with more great songs than the Beatles.Check out my video response of Sages D-7.lemme know what you think.

  • This kinda music captures a picture in time, everything from the distortion, the production, the guitar style and even his voice sounds like it belongs in the past. Shame music like this isn't made any more, really draws you in

  • is this two guitars or just one?

  • killer track

  • how does it make someone a loser if they have no girlfriend? thats very judgemental

  • wow never really gave the wipers a listen, now that i did im glad, this song is super mellow....i like the fact that his lyrics are kinda depressing...reminds me of Ian Curtis style of lyrics...

  • Shite, I'm so happy there is this music, high school seems less hellish

  • So beautiful.

  • this is the best of all wipers ballads ! If you can call this a ballad !

this pure melancholy turns into raging fury in the end of the song - the guitar speaks

  • AMAZING BREAKDOWN!

  • MY LOVELY ONE

    DM THANKS FOR THE PASS

  • Vision music

  • super band

  • torpid sounds like Butters on weed listening to distorted guitar music

  • @XMxOxRxSX Try Nirvana was Wipersish.

  • @ACEHOLETHIRTEEN

    that's what i mean..

  • @XMxOxRxSX Right on.

  • Fuck me. I have heard about 5 wipers songs now and they get better and better. Why are they so un heard. Everyone should hear this for fucks sake

  • @torpid2 well to be honest, the instrumentals can get a bit annoying. but yeah, I agree

  • @torpid2 Even the NIRVANA cover songs are "un heard"

  • I'm glad I found out about the Wipers. I've been listening soooo many times since about 3 days ago.

  • I think that they make fun of all those losers who cry themselves to sleep each night because they don't have a girlfriend. LOL. This shit ROCKS.

  • which he is not, greg sage is a sentimental type of guy, i dont think he is "making fun of all those losers without girlfriends". people have the wrong idea from my first comment

  • @AVIATIO I think you Laugh out loud about yourself. It useally is that way if people laugh at something that ain't really funny.

  • @Ikhnaton777 Thanx for the support !

  • @AVIATIO I think you Laugh out loud about yourself. It useally is that way if people laugh at something that ain't really funny. The real losers in this world feel better about them selves when they can push someone else down

  • @wietsketjitske

I think that you're absolutely retarded, here's my hope that you fall down the stairs and break a hip.

  • @AVIATIO See: You just proved my point.

  • @AVIATIO

    Jesus.

    Cripple fight.

    Play nice kids.

  • @mattb1369 Indeed.

  • @mattb1369 Cripple coment

  • as there is little information to be found in internet about wipers can someone tell me who exactly were the band members? or did he play every instrument on his own? i read on offical wipers website Greg only had a guitar..

  • Is This Real? - Greg Sage (vocals, guitar), Dave Koupal (bass), Sam Henry (drums)

Youth of America - Greg Sage (vocals, guitar), Brad Davidson (bass), Brad Naish (drums)

Over the Edge - Same as YoA

NOTE: YoA's title track and "Taken So Long" had Dave Koupal and Brad Davidson sharing the bass.

All of this was taken from the booklet for the box set.

  • Another note:

For Straight Ahead, Greg recorded everything except drums.

  • God couldn't do a better job.
