Of course, I have a KTM 990 Adv, but my best buddy bought a BMW 1200 GS last summer before our big trip.

BMW has nice bells & whistles, but I don't need a shift indicator to let me know what gear I'm in or a thermometer to tell me it's hot/cold.

I had BMW GS 1200 ADV that bike is too expensive, too hard and powerless. I drive it for 2 years and 28.000km...

Now I have KTM 990 adv, and KTM is much better bike!

this big ktm is a hell of a bike. myself ride a 640 Adv. but having spent almost 3 mins watching this movie the question in my head is what does it prove... you do not need to have a 100KM monster to do slides on a beach that is flat as a table top.

in short another useless video from MCN. try harder guys and IMHO you have MUCH better places to test those bikes up there in SYorkshire.

BTW: BMW GS and the wet beach is like an ox and a carriage...

I can see only the KTM doing slides and obviuosly having fun with... the BMW looks like a tank and is just rolling behind. Didn't ride the BMW yet but I am looking forward very much to receiving my first KTM adventure in a few days :) !!!

What would of been nice is close -up slow-mo's of the engines in short clips while riding. You'd kill 2 ducks with one shot.

From now on, keep your feet on the pegs doing shitties.

The toque of these in those conditions is very easy to control with throttle.

Now stud them up and head for the snow like I do on 500 single pro moto 4 stroke Honda. It's a blast in fresh foot of snow. He's old, but it still kick's my azz.
