can any body help me i not american and i dont have money but i want to come to usa and study(just to come there) should i dream or should i stop dreaming its a 15 year old dream i dying out of depression and i cant take any one help i guess my end is soon i must be the most help less person on this planet
@checkfuckduck : if you are one of the best students in your country (country, not school), you might have a chance. Otherwise, it's only a dream. International students normally pay full price. Those that are very good can get partial scholarships. Full scholarships are only for those that are geniuses. A helpless person does not fit that category. Don't worry. Be the best you can in your own country and come to the US as a tourist, it beats trying to make a living here anyway.
I got into AU with a 20k/ year scholarship. Its still 30k a year just in tuition though and FASFA wont give me crap. With the new responsibility of providing healthcare for 30 milion people next year (The top 50% pays 97% of taxes), the price is a little steep... :/
AU grad 2008. Tough but some great times, was working as well so not too much time to chill. Lots of politics but easy to stay away from once you know what to look for.

american university is 1 of the best universities in the world.. i been there 2 years ago with the basketball team.. and we had soo much fun.. its huge, the weather is amaizing, i would love to continue my life in there. it was the best 2 weeks i have ever had..i recommend you to join it , its wonderful
Hey! I just recently applied to American, and Im nercous. Im really into watching my tv shows at night, having fun, not drinking and partying like crazy, but going out seeing movies, hangin out, and such. People are telling me i wont like american because all the kids are deeply into politics and stuff...is that true? because now im nervous about attending...but i thought it was a great school for me....help!?
i recently got admitted, but i don't think i will attend. my financial award from them is comparable to a public school. wtf?? i thought private schools had more money!!
I'm a soon-to-be junior at American. I don't go out drinking and partying much (I mean, not at frat parties at least), and I watch movies and hang out with friends a lot. I know people who are happy at American living life like that.
But if you don't like politics, stay away. You will be miserable here. You would be like an atheist at Messiah College.
there's a quote that says "American University is the only school where the election parties are bigger than the superbowl parties". and just about everyone there is a die hard liberal. so if you're a conservative or even a strong republican, you might not like it or you'll just have to be very open.
Not true concerning the Republican comment (although there are plenty of liberals). I'm an AU student (and an independent) and there are a lot of republicans here as well. "Most Politically Active Campus in the Nation" doesn't just mean there are liberals. Check out how active the College Republicans are, and you'll see. =)
Yeah, the food sucks a lot, but that chick that works in the Tavern is nice. You didn't have to be such a fatass in front of her. This video kinda sucks. And you're fat.
Is that bitch Katsura Korita still head of judicial affairs? fucker expelled me and im still trying to get back in. Why you ask? 114 f*cking credits dammit.
I bet AU loves this video...

I dont think DC has any good food at all. You have to cross the Potomac River and get into Arlington,Va for that. 1986 Graduate Alumni
