1. how the hell does a tennis ball bounce on sand! Never heard of sand courts.
2. They should call this thing "Hit-A-Poor-Lob" or "Get-A-Tennis-Elbow" trainer"
3. This is one of the worst commercials I have ever seen. It is obvious they're trying to hide how this thing works. The strange thing is that there is a video on YouTube of a player training with a similar product, and it is actually not that bad. Then again, how could anyone make such a bad commercial?
how could you have a similar product for baseball? how would you serve a baseball in order for it to return to you. i think you cannot comment on a product unless you have tested it. the celebrity endorsement you talk of is actually a proffessional tennis coach licensed by the british lawn tennis association, the organisation responsible for professeional tennis in britain and the organisation of wimbledon. i know who ill be listening to zelemont.
Personally i think the opinions 'zelemont' expressed are wrong. i have purchased a rebound pro from the website and has been played almost non stop! My whole family have had fun playing it. Referring to 'zelemonts' comments that i disagree with, because i have recently joined a fitness club, i brought my rebound set their and was practising my top spin. It can also be played over a tennis court net so there is no need for an opponent. Therefore i would recommend rebound to anyone.
I say this only because they have a similar product to practice batting in baseball, but its unnatural motions make it useless for real practice. It has a celebrity endorsement too, but absolutely horrendous reviews and ratings everywhere. Still, its fun for a while.
Anyone else think its a wee bit funny that they cut the video every time the ball is on its way back? I do believe they are trying to hide the awkward way that it comes back. From the look of it, i would only recommend doing this "for fun" and not to improve your tennis skills.
Yes it is a good product and works very well. Here's a better video demonstration :
