Just saying 24 frames per second is "fast" and if you want less or more is really ridiculous.

You could have mentioned that it also depends on the target you're animating for. If it's PAL video, then use 25 fps, NTSC, then 29.97, etc.

By the way there's an 'R' after the 'B' in Library.

Thanks for the effort put into these tutorials, but I'm three quarters through this one and so far I've learned how to change the frame rate... and that's it. In other tutorials I suggest just getting straight into making something and showing us the tools etc along the way, and as we need them as opposed to listing EVERYTHING CS4 has, but not actually teaching anything.

Pretty good opening tutorial, would help if your basic descriptions of the tool extended more than just saying "it helps with this, or if your an animator that" Perhaps you should try and give some actual abilities or descriptions of the the tool does. But aside from that you did a great job with a basic overlay of the opening systems settings and displays.

i know. my animations look really choppy at 12 fps. but at 30 fps, they look perfectly smooth. i knew to set it to 30 fps because thats what most games run at. and they look very smooth.

But with SWISH you can make almost everything on the easy way... I think Adobe need to make a whole new software more easy, like swish does.. Simples taks like making buttons for example, Swish is alot more easy than Flash Cs4
