The word government comes from the Latin word 'Gubernatio' which means to control. The word 'ment' is another Latin word which means mind. . . . So the word Government literally means Control Of The Mind. Whose mind? Your mind. Mind control is the name of their game and it is your mind that they are controlling. Think about it.
Larken, love love love this! Thank you for waking people up! Paradigm shift is needed to get people out of believing they have no power or choice in their lives. Its only now that people like yourself are saying 'wake up and see the BS you've been swallowing for too long'. Wonderful stuff, yay! Cheers Lisa xxx
This video is true "IF" people are educated as to the facts on how their government has screwed them. I have condensed my info for about 10 years. Most people can learn what I know in a few weeks (or maybe months if they are lazy).
GOOGLE: "America has been hacked and hijacked" ... once you get there. Start at the top and work your way to the bottom. See 7 issues proving my statement. See 2 videos on the cumulative effect. ALSO see PG#9, PG#3 & PG#8
I agree with this video, though the original dot movie is sufficient to understand the concept. I wrote a one page monograph on the reality of the community between people that is just like this: zaishenorder-budo d o t o r g / Governance d o t p d f
you are so close to seeing the big picture Larken the next step is to realize that the throng is the dot.for reasons you would understand but not quite see there is a bigger picture at play here.
I like what your saying and doing. For so long I've thought the same way about 8yrs. I've used the costume/uniform idea. Which is one person dressed like Batman is just a nut wearing a costume. A 100 nuts wearing a Batman costume it becomes a uniform. Now that its a uniform these nuts get to order you around.
@sedwrzwsr Sadly, there is a very real example of the Batman costume thing: when a kid hears everyone saying, "That guy at the mall wearing red and white is Santa," he usually believes it. Then he grows up, and is told, "That guy wearing blue isn't just a person, but is a magical thing called 'authority,' and you have to obey him." And they believe it. The difference is, with Santa, we're eventually told it was a lie. What I do is tell people that the second one is a lie, too.
Problem would be the nearby island with a government. Is it possible to co exsist with government? It would seem from government is pretty relentless once it becomes aware of someone who doesn't want to join the program. So even if you were to ignore a government into disappearing, wouldn't the nieghboring government just move in.
@sedwrzwsr Okay, so add a nearby island, with head-hunters on it, into the equation. THEN what would you do? Beg for someone to force you to fund and support their idea of defense? Or would you just let the head-hunters eat you, because there weren't any politicians and guys with badges around to save you? If there was an outside threat, would your first thought be, "Hey, we need someone on our island who bosses us around and takes what we produce!"? I'm guessing it wouldn't be.
Your right. But what is the alternative? How are roads and bridges built? What about disputes between people? Where would those who violate the rights of others be kept or tried? Wouldn't we just be replacing government with government? What about lawyers and politicans would they just go away?
@sedwrzwsr If you want to know the answer to your questions, imagine being on a desert island, with a hundred or so people. No one is "in charge." There is no "government" and no "authority." Just people. So, what would YOU do? How would YOU deal with various challenges and situations? Would you find ways to cooperate and organize voluntarily with others? Or would you, and everyone else, just sit there feeling helpless, because no one was telling everyone what to do?
You have to remember that you are not talking about just any government here, you are talking about a world empire following in the footsteps of Genghis Khan.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I guess this stupid shit of a person doesn't realize that MOST of the people in the so called 1% actually moved up to that 1% because they spent more time doing the "required" things in life to get there, i.e. hard work, study, etc.and less time doing the "optional" things in life like drugs, and complaining and whining all day because you don't have things. Perhaps this stupid shit will realize why foreigners come here and get into the 1% while this stupid shit sites on his ass complaining.
@eddiehaskell7 Between having tantrums, maybe you should try opening your eyes and ears occasionally. The video is not complaining about people being rich. I have no problem whatsoever with people who get rich through VOLUNTARY means. The video is about those who produce no wealth, but rob and extort productive people.
@john197030 Actually, I know quite a bit about the insane, self-contradictory mythology of "representative republics." The lunacy taught as "civics" (as expressed by the "dot" in the original video) may be commonly accepted, but that doesn't make it any less ridiculous.
@37butterflyprincess Nice quote. Utter bunk. How can each individual owe a debt to "society," when society is nothing but a collection of individuals? The usual statist BS about "giving back to society" pretends that a group of violent, parasitic control freaks (the state) is somehow "society," but that all the voluntary trade and cooperation that goes on isn't.
@LarkenRose so you just expect people to protect you from criminals with out you needing to give something back? you think a societies defense force should keep invaders out and you should enjoy those benefits without giving something in return? If others choose to pay to maintain roadways and you don't should you be permitted to use those roadways?
@37butterflyprincess Are you really unable to see the difference between: A) you pay someone to do something, and in return he provides you a service, and; B) someone provides you a service you didn't ask for, and then forces you to pay whatever price he says? "Taxation" is the latter. It's immoral. Voluntary trade is the former. It's moral and useful. Did I really need to explain that?
@37butterflyprincess I thought the exact same thing, did he really have to explain it to see the difference. Something so obvious sometimes is difficult to see I suppose.
@LarkenRose have you even READ John Stuart Mill? He also said "The only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others. His own good, either physical or moral, is not sufficient warrant." and "Whatever crushes individuality is despotism, by whatever name it may be called and whether it professes to be enforcing the will of God or the injunctions of men." yeah, that's REAL statist think there.
@LarkenRose funny how people like you call socialist people free loaders, but they understand that receiving the benefits of society entails a certain responsibility to that society. it seems that militant libertarians think they should get all the benefits of living in a community but not have to contribute anything to that community. If you live in a community and don't pay to use the benefits of that society why should you be able to use enjoy those benefits?
@LarkenRose "Though society is not founded on a contract, and though no good purpose is answered by inventing a contract in order to deduce social obligations from it, every one who receives the protection of society owes a return for the benefit, and the fact of living in society renders it indispensable that each should be bound to observe a certain line of conduct towards the rest."
Respond to this video...(continued) "This conduct consists first, in not injuring the interests of one another; or rather certain interests, which, either by express legal provision or by tacit understanding, ought to be considered as rights; and secondly, in each person's bearing his share (to be fixed on some equitable principle) of the labours and sacrifices incurred for defending the society or its members from injury and molestation." John Stuart Mill, On Liberty
I disagree with this video because of one simple question that I don't know the answer to. If I knew the answer, I would probably think you were completely right. The question is this:
Why is the setup (people on the right, dot on the left) a problem? What about it do you not like?
@Tanglephish Even carjackers and murderers sometimes do useful things. That doesn't make carjacking and committing murder good. Why am I bothering to explain this?
@LarkenRose My point is that you used a bad analogy--that you should not compare the government to a group of carjackers and murderers because they are completely different things. Unless you think that the gang is run by carjackers and murderers, which is a completely different story and very different from anything you have suggested so far.
@Tanglephish is the dot not carjackers and murderers? If I don't give the dot money for a sticker on my car, they will come carjack it. As for murderers... Afganistan, Iran, Vietnam, etc.
Larken Rose your awesome I've felt this for so many years but the populace is so blind and dumbed down by chemicals in the food, air and water and entertainment , that they've lost the ability to think or reason I just bought your book "The Most Dangerous Superstition"
This precise point was made by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel in the 19th century. If anyone's interested check out the Phenomenology of Spirit--specifically the section on the master-slave dialectic.
You are so right! The problem is rooted in the mind-control of the masses. But as for the solution, you say simply ignoring the tiny dot is enough. Ignoring it translates into not paying taxes, not obeying stupid laws, etc. This in essense is correct, but there needs to be some organization. It entails not only waking people up, which is a huge task in itself, but organizing at the local level as well. One big step is to wake up the enforcers so THEY ignore bad orders (see Oathkeepers).
The 16th Amendment was never ratified. Read The Law That Never Was by Bill Benson. Vol. 2 contains a copy of the authenticated, irrefutable evidence that the Supreme Court recently decided does not have to be admitted into evidence at a district court trial on the issue, which is a denial of due process. So one more dot upheld the enforcers and we accept it, while no law requiring us to pay exists, and yet we continue to pay. We need to simply stop paying EN MASS. They can't stop that.
" Fix what's between your ears and the world will fix itself" TRUTH,Know it and it will set you FREE! Thanks for being on of the few who simplifies it for the masses! The negativity is fear based reactionary response to a strong dose of REALITY ! Like crabs in a barrel, pulling each other INTO the barrel, as opposed to OUTOF the barrel! I didn't need the vid to be explained, as my own research confirms as well led upto the same perspective and beyond . The beyond being the untold ancient wealth,
@randomhermhines Bad guess. As you may have noticed, I don't threaten to cage people who don't buy my book, nor would I ever want to. So no, I don't want to be the dot. It's a little sad that needed explaining.
Notice the inverted pentagram on Uncle Sam's hat at 2:20. No. It's NOT a star. Stars are bodies in space. THAT is an inverted pentagram. It's the symbol of the people who are running YOUR life. Please /watch?v=xvNabovREvg&list=FLNoxfei1iZIPxTRdVAPfhIQ&index=9&feature=plpp. It will explain everything. Now back to your regularly scheduled television programming. Did he just say 'television programming'? Turn it off. It's your first step in liberating your spirit.
@LarkenRose Perhaps inverted was the wrong word. It's still a symbol of control. That's the gist of what I intended. Thanks... Keep up the good work Larkin.
No I do not think it's because of the LAW. You have to understand WHO really controls all these people who pass these laws that take away our freedom. On the top of the heap are the 13 families that own practically everything and have such a tight structure that over the years they have been able to get what they want thru strategic implementation. Call them the Illuminati, The cabal,The Globalists, I don't care. They are extremely organized and control presidents, dictators, they plan wars and
@belindabell2 Yes, it IS the "law." The WHO wouldn't matter, if the people didn't hallucinate a beast called "government." That's kind of the point. The problem is the perceptions and beliefs of the throng, which lead them to imagine that the dot actually has the right to rule them. It's the means by which the evil control freaks do what they do. Without statist mythology to work through, they would be powerless.
@romanianfirefox It is obvious that your primary concern is being high on the income and class scale. As such, you are quite easy for the parasites to control. Personally, I'd rather be poor and be fighting for what is true and right, than be a rich, compliant sheep. You don't seem to mind injustice and oppression much, as long as it's not being done to you--or as long as you're the one doing it to someone else. I don't care how rich you are. I'd still rather be me than you.
well in your society you could say i stole from you, your wealth. and i could be shot because you lied by saying so. but you yourself could have stole what you said i stole from you. by definition liars would prevail the society doesn't sound any different than what we have now. but if you say i stole from you and i didn't and my life depended on it yes then it becomes my business so that i can survive from a lie. hypothetical situation but will happen, after all it happens everyday already.
@patthespark Ideas are not ownable because they are not “rivalrous”. In order to steal property I have to deprive you of its use, with IP this condition can never be met. In addition, in order to en*force* these so called IP rights, one must initiate force against another by exerting ownership in another parties property. In short you must violate property rights to enforce IP rights, this makes it illegitimate. IP then becomes a positive right. There are no positive rights.
@patthespark Tell it to the IRS when you end up in court. While you are correct, they dont care.
On another note, you can't own labor, this is a misunderstanding of economics. Labor is an action amd you can control your actions, but what you own is your body. Labor, like an idea, is an abstrqct concept
Self-Governed Communism. Do we need political leaders? replace them all, with a system that allows for public voting on ALL RELEVANT POLLS i.e., Bill, charters, statements that affect you and your area. Available via phone dial VOTE tole-free, punch in your SSN or SIN, and a list of votes will be given with links to more information about each or even to be heard over the phone. Something like that would have almost every hacker working ON IT. I figure anyway.
@Sinaduel Sorry to be a party-pooper, but "the people" don't own me. I don't give a rat's ass what the majority wants, when it comes to what I do. Direct democracy is no more legitimate than one tyrant pretending to have a claim on my life and effort.
economics in a large status with communication is supply vs demand. do you set the price of what you pay when you go the the store larken can you haggle with the store owners? nope its a set price based on economy. your choice is to pay the price they say or dont buy it and hope to find another price. there is your freedom in economy. you dont wanna eat don't pay the price. you dont wanna pay taxes set up for this country, leave. you have that choice stop making everyone think this is about them
okay last thing im gonna say people for the most part know they own themselves but what you bring up is taxation being slavery, how they are stealing from you. thats not about owning yourself thats about owning your money, your money has nothing to do with yourself as you previously stated it is nothing but a medium of exchange. then you say im looney for believing in society. you can have most people hear they own themselves by simply saying Hey you, YOU OWN YOURSELF!..
@Kablepg Property rights, including money, extend from self ownership. If you argue that taxation is ok because *you* still own yourself (with no food, clothing, housing etc) then you are justifying the theft of anything and everything by the state or anyone else for that matter. Society does not require government to exist.
@LordShandor its okay, it just means im supposed to take it on your word that you own your house and your money. after all why should i believe you, i didn't witness you buying it. i never witnessed you earn it either. how do you plan to rectify this issue? hell as far as i know you could have stolen it yourself and just said you bought it. by definition if i believed you were a theif i don't need proof just that i believe it. so in that society i could just say your evil. sounds like fun.
@Kablepg What the hell are you even talking about? Its none of your business where my house or money came from. The only one who can raise a claim is someone who it may have been stolen from or someone who was i jured by it. Otherwise it is no one's business, period.
Also concerning slavery it was the biggest blemish on our republic and remains so. That being said the transition to a republic from being under the control of a monarch would never have been made if that slavery compromise had not been made. Read anything by Jefferson and the understanding of the situation comes to light.
@Misguided76 So we went from about 4% taxation under a monarch, to what became about 50% total taxation under a "republic." Yippee. And slavery wasn't the only "blemish." There was that little thing about mass genocide of the people already living here. What you were taught about the great and glorious representative republic which would serve and protect the people is 100% horse poop.
@LarkenRose I didn't say slavery was our only blemish I said it was our biggest. I agree taxation is out of hand and that those who discovered and settled this continent were brutal killers of those indigenous people but I'm not arguing any of that. I'm simply saying that a Constitutional republic such as that was created here is the best form of government known to human kind and I also acknowledge that there is a need for a government. At no time did I advocate a large powerful nanny.
@Misguided76 You think there "is a need for a government" because, first and foremost, you think that "government" actually exists. It doesn't, and it can't. As much as I'd like to type the whole book over again, 500 characters at a time, I don't really have the time. Most people don't WANT to know if their world view is based on bogus assumptions, so they vehemently and irrationally try to defend what is insane. If that does NOT describe you, read "The Most Dangerous Superstition."
Or an authoritarian government. I simply understand that there is a need for the rights of the people to be orderly protected and for the adjudicating of disputes. In other words until people are perfect there is a need for respect of some kind of "law". A republic allows for those within the society to be governed not only to be the government but to make the laws. Society decided to give that away in this country. Bad idea in my opinion it has failed.
@Misguided76 You claim that until people are perfect, all of us nasty, imperfect people need to bow to some kind of "law." 1) For the ones who don't mind being nasty to people, why would they care about "law"? 2) If "laws" are needed to keep us imperfect people in line, what SPECIES is writing these "laws"? Whether it's a "Republic," or any other flavor of ruling class, giving one group the supposed right to rule, and supposed PERMISSION to initiate violence against innocents, does NOT help.
Your idea of anarchy however seems as utopian in practice as communism. Both sound great but neither will ever work as well as a republican government.
@Misguided76 Anarchy is not just what should be; it is what IS. The delusion/superstition of "government"--the notion that certain documents and pseudo-religious rituals can actually bestow upon someone the right to rule--is the problem. The people escaping the cult of "authority"-worship won't make everyone good, or smart, but it will eliminate the vast majority of injustice in the world, which is not the result of personal malice, but the result of obedience to an imagined "authority."
@LarkenRose since all forms of government are imperfect because man is imperfect what is your solution for protection of individual rights and adjudicating disputes? What do you do when someone destroys your property and refuses to replace, repair, or in some way suitable to you compensate you for damages. Property rights are the key to your freedoms you yourself admitted so how do those disputes get settled without someone being authorized force to handle them?
@Misguided76 Look at your own question. As statists always do--and as I did for most of my life--you imagine that there must be a centralized, forcibly-imposed authoritarian "plan" or "system" to make society work. In other words, you still want an all-knowing, all-powerful nanny to save the day. There's a reason I keep bugging people to read "The Most Dangerous Superstition." Everything you're arguing, I argued for years.
@LarkenRose No I'm totally against an authoritarian plan or central system. I just recognize the need for a system of protection of rights and property as well as an orderly way to adjudicate disputes. It sounds to me like you are advocating a society sans any rules. How does that work when people start to act accordingly, in other words survival of the fittest? I'm simply wondering how much better your "plan" for society is than that of our so flawed (in your estimation) founders?
@Misguided76 You are NOT totally against an authoritarian plan or central system, since that's what "government" always is. You talk of my "plan" because, like most people, you have only ever thought within the paradigm of an over-arching "system." I'm not running for Emperor of Anarchy. My "plan" is for people to grasp that they each own themselves, and that they are beholden only to their own consciences, NOT any outside "authority." (I might send you a free book, if you promise to read it.)
@LarkenRose I would love to read your book. I just want an answer to one question here though. What happens when the biggest and strongest in society decide to take advantage of the weakest and smallest? What happens when one of them takes everything from you and does horrible things to your family? How does that get rectified?
All that being said I really do love your message of self ownership and independence from government and that government only has power because we continue to recognize them. All of this is so true and the size and scope of government is within our control as well as soon as people realize this and decide to take some kind of action (inaction and disobedience is also action) then we will own our lives again.
@LarkenRose That question is loaded and the reason is that people are not perfect and therefore no government can be perfect. That being the case is exactly the argument for needing some form of government. But to answer the question there have been two governments that had done a fairly good job of it for a time and that's the Roman's and us. Both were corrupted and failed to accomplish the task in the end but the fault is that of the people. Jefferson knew this to be the case.
@Misguided76 People are not perfect ... and therefore SOME people need to have permission to commit violent aggression against everyone else. Brilliant. That is the essence of statism, in all its insanity. Funny you mention the Roman and original U.S. authoritarian ruling classes, both of which VIOLENTLY ENFORCED OVERT SLAVERY. You call that doing a "fairly good job" of being only defenders of individual rights? Gack. "Government" has ALWAYS been an aggressor, and by its very nature, MUST be.
Now what happens after that is that members of the throng see how the dot can collect large sums of money so they decide to ask the dot to do so to better that particular group of the throng in return of course for further support to remain part of the dot. The problem is not "government" or "law" it's corrupt government not obeying it's own law. Constitutional government as arranged by our founders limits government to doing it's only job. PROTECTING OUR RIGHTS.
I agree with 95% of what you are saying. I think what you are missing is that the throng puts up with the dot because we, the throng, created the dot to organize protection of our rights from members of the throng who would infringe on our rights and from foreign invaders who might do the same. In order to do that the dot needs money that the throng agrees to give it.
@Misguided76 The mythology the throng is taught is that the throng MADE the dot, and AGREED to give it power, so it could serve and protect the throng. All of that is utter BS. It's what we are taught so we don't recognize the obvious master-slave relationship. Let me ask you what I've asked over and over again here, without ever getting an answer: Name ONE "government," anywhere in the world, at any point in history, that ONLY protected rights and defended against aggressors.
Yup, i fixed whats between my ears.. and now? we wait for people to change? the thing is people will never change because they are told what to do. We just gotta show this to them, wake them up. exept of finding ways to kill the dot, lets figure out a way to bring the truth to the people.
@OldSchoolRapNigga The problem AND the solution exists entirely between our ears. Those of us who, for whatever reason, have escaped the lie, have to do whatever we can to drag as many others out of the Matrix as are willing to see reality. Unfortunately, in the meantime, lots of seriously nasty crap is going to happen.
The monetary system is at it's core slavery, creating money out of no-thing and then paying compound interest to a privately held bank is insane Democracy is slavery.
i just noticed something ironic, anyone else notice larken saying to me money is not evil even though for years im sure we have all heard money is the root of all evil XD.
Its only a medium of exchange if no one is able to controll it. like the givernment we are the ones who give it meaning, might we send ourselves back to the stone ages getting rid of it, eh not really because its not like if we get rid of money we will suddenly become retarded cavemen just trying to invent the wheel.
@Kablepg Yes, we've all heard that money is the root of all. The fact that we've all heard it doesn't make it any less ridiculous. And yes, we WOULD be thrown back, not quite to caveman existence, but close. What you're suggesting is NO MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE. Why? No FIAT currency, yeah. But why do think that trading efficiently--with silver, gold, whatever--is inherently bad? You're not reinventing the wheel; you're trying to abolish the wheel, and that WOULD throw us back, a lot.
@LarkenRose well ironically money gold silver was not the first form of economy, Bartering was however the first form, so to say that it would be abolishing the wheel would suggest that money is first but heres the thing, if you moved to lets say an island with a billion US dollars would you be able to make a life there or would it be just as meaningless and would you actually have to work for your living. all money does is allow excess happen,
@LarkenRose excess of money that you don't spend it on means you have to be part of the society well even having money with no regulations or good and upstanding people which you might have more faith in than i do many people would go hungry many people would never be paid for their labor. and everyone would have to work off the sweat of their brow to eat every day but if they had to pay someone for the seeds they could not afford it im sure. you can't have a medium of exchange without rules
So what's this guy's point? We all stop paying our taxes? To what end? Of course there's plenty to bitch about regarding gov't. But does this guy want to do w/out police, fire dept, military, schools, roads, etc, etc, etc? This is simplistic claptrap.
I have to sadly state that even you Larken are focusing on the wrong issue. It is not the issue of should we keep our money should we ignore the dot. The True problem is should we be putting so much worth into a worhtless piece of paper?
Would we still hold it to be important if we used rocks instead of dollars. The true question you should be asking yourself is should we put so much into money? Should money be held so high as the most important thing in the world. I hope to hear back fro you.
@Kablepg As a mere medium of exchange, money is not evil. It's just a simplified way for two people to trade the fruits of their labors, which is useful if we want to live beyond caveman existence. FIAT currency, which is counterfeit fraud, is evil. It's people sneakily stealing the productivity of others by means of a deception. But the way they always implement that is via paid-for permission from the king du jour (e.g., the Federal Reserve Act of 1913). So "government" is STILL the problem.
@LarkenRose Your question to everyone from the video is why does the DoT have power? and the answer is simple, fear, people fear what might happen to them despite the fact that over the years we have proven that brain and ingenuity at the precipe of civalization and its destruction. and the problem is money is the power in our world the more you have the more powerful you are but guess what all countries are in debt, which when you think about it how is it possible that every country has debt?
@LarkenRose That is a SImple question where is all the money if no one has it? the people with the real power in the world have it. the government may create it but if they DO create it why would they possibly have debt? thats where i think most people are confused the Government is not the problem but merely a pawn or puppet if you will easy to blame because we are not connected to it. while it seems easy to blame the government but over history thats what humanity comes back to.
@LarkenRose Brain and ingenuity is what frees us. Money is simply a tool used to control the masses. i mean think about it. in order to buy a house do you have to ask the government if you can? no you have to ask a bank if they will let you borrow the money to buy it because you yourself couldnt afford it. i mean we have to ask to eat, we have to ask to talk to others. we have to ask someone to survive.
@Kablepg What the poop? What you just described is not the fault of money. It's the fault of state theft ("taxation"), plus the fraudulent currency and banking system we have. To blame MONEY for us being poor is like blaming FOOD for us being hungry.
@LarkenRose Okay i believe you misunderstood me, i don't blame money for being poor because the irony without money there is no status of "poor", which kinda makes me laugh. i put it this way, if we continue to use the US dollar or any government owned and opperated currency we will fall under their rules. i said THIS currency is a piece of the problem. technically they own the currency so that does give them the rights to tax it. just like you owning food gives you the right to sell it.
@LarkenRose i will even go so far to say that the original government set up was pretty smart they collectively announced and we agreed to living in the US means the US owns all the land. if you wish to build on it you must get a permit. cause technically the government does own the land, so as payment for each year you are living on that land in your house which you own the deed to the house but not the land. it has not been yours for a long time.
@Kablepg Gack, gack. Every time I think you're starting to make sense, you say something looney. Now, while you bash trading with...well, almost anything... you think it was GOOD for "government" to pretend to own all the land? Then you bicker about "excess" wealth? Have you been possessed by the spirit of Karl Marx, or what?
@LarkenRose wow now who is saying looney shit, pretend to own all the land? did you really just ask that? what happens when you move to a desert island and make your life then someone decides to move there too, your pretending to own the land yourself if you do anything, if he takes part of the food then he is "stealing from you" because you were there first and you "own the land".
@Kablepg Also, if you're just saying people are too superficial and materialistic, I'd agree. But that usually mainly hurts the short-sighted people being that way. If people could only hurt THEMSELVES with their stupidity, the world would be a lot better place.
@LarkenRose maybe you can help Larken, I am trying to sum up the only two rules/laws? that we need obey. I know they're both part of most religious texts and the 10 commandments, (note:I do not follow any religion other than my own understandings and common sense) and they are, to put it simply, do not steal, do not harm. If it was possible for every one of us to be humble and live honestly then there would be no problems. I really think you should get in contact with Max Igan (aodscarecrow)
@LarkenRose (1) I also meant to say this: for some time now I have realised that the complexities involved in helping people see the big picture (when they have ultimately been brain washed since the day they were born) and the implications involved are massive. People appear to want to be governed and although I personally see 99% of everything as completely superficial, pointless and...
@LarkenRose (2) ...ultimately just one form or another of distraction to that which is real, this is, after all, just my own opinion. I therefore believe that sadly some form of government is necessary to keep the masses in check within a system. However, I do believe that a brand new form of government with COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY of every transaction and process needs to be implicated to save us from the blatantly corrupt current system. Your thoughts? Alyn.
@alyncurtis The fact that many are too brainwashed to even begin to consider reality doesn't make "government" a good thing. If the people were stupid and irresponsible, and there WAS such a thing as an all-powerful, wise, noble super-nanny to keep them in line, then yes, that might be the best we could do for now. But the "super-nanny" takes the stupidity and irresponsibility of people, and increases the damage it does a thousand-fold. Letting people be unthinking slaves doesn't help anyone.
WE created the "dot" many many years ago. under the illusion of democracy, The issue here is that you are Right they Use the Illusion of democracy to warp the Throng into believing its for the good of the Country. Sad part is this country is not a democracy, and your right the rest of the throng will be paid to quash any non believers. What do you think War is, war is the Rich and wealthy paying one half of the poor to kill the other half with their goods so they can take everything from both.

We have an obligation to pay taxes. You drive down roads, you breathe clean air, use clean water. You have an obligation to repay for your use of public facilities.
@Unthiest Slaves will also accept meals 'from' their master. Does that mean they are therefore obligated to give away the product of their labour? It's just a trade, right? Obviously not, by any definition. The slave can produce for himself without the parasite in the equation. And even ignoring the immorality of using aggression against peaceful people to achieve your ends, I don't think you need aggression to build roads. Do you? Does somebody need to be coerced in order for roads to exist?
The idea of Law is Un-questionable; if you are pro not-being-killed-by-someone-over-nothing. Obeying it, encuraged. What is to be questioned is; what-not to make into a law.
'It is dangerous to be right, when the government is wrong.' Capitalism is not interested in losses, there is little money in it, except in 'Biggest-Looser'.
You could have said: -Read my book. Repeatedly to technomusic, it might work better today!
@SvenVision The idea of "law" (and "authority" and "government") is EXACTLY what must be questioned. Until you do that, all you're doing is bickering over what kind of slave-master will own you.
You know what? I am sick of all the people that tell me I shouldn't pay taxes, fines etc. If I don't pay I end up in court and ultimately in prison - why do none of you guys ever talk about that?!
@cjz5307 Because the funny thing is if you go to jail for not paying the taxes, they feed you, house you, and give you free medical attention if you do go to jail. basically everything you are fighting to pay for will be given to you for free.
Great teaching, Larken. The original Tiny Dot video and this follow-up give a true picture of the insanity that has dominated societies in the USA and elsewhere.
The natural course of power is to make the many slaves to the few.
~William Findley (1741-1821)
At least black people knew when they were slaves, you [the throng] remain clueless.
~Doug Stanhope (1967-present)
Kudos. IMO, I've not seen a more easily understood & to the point presentation describing The State since Stefan Molyneux put out "The Story of Your Enslavement" a little more than a year ago.
Obligation? How can that be, when the taxes are automatically taken from my check before I see it? Really, the way to argue about taxes is to eliminate the automatic paycheck deductions and have the taxpayers actually write a check every month, quarter or year, that would probably help change "The Tiny Dot" situation.
look around you your house, the road, the schools, cars, soda the computers you use. who made these things? the government? HELL NO, people did, we ALREADY do everything we don't NEED a power telling us what to do everyone. we ALREADY take care of everything why do we NEED the government to direct our money to the "right places" me and all of you can put our money where ever the fuck we see fit. we dont need an authority power telling us how it is best to live our lives.
The REAL reason why this happened in the first place is because there are some things that people did not want to take care of. They wanted it easy so they elected people to do these things for them.
The risk with this was for the elected people to do things they did not like on their behalf, WHICH IS A RISK PEOPLE IN THEIR LAZINESS ACCEPTED TO TAKE.
This will change the day the discomfort of them doing things we don't like on our behalf outweighs the discomfort of doing those things ourself.
Fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. If you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you, then I would suggest you allow these next few months to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me, and together we shall give them a year that shall never, ever be forgotten.
So simple a caveman can figure it out, but some people just don't want to understand it because then they would have to take responsibility for their own lives.

History = unbroken list of epic atrocities committed solely in the name of government and/or religion.
Yet, the words *atheism* (literal definition: "a lack of belief in the existence of God or gods"), and *anarchist*,(literal definition: "without a ruler") still strike knee-jerk terror into the hearts of the sheeple.
I think it's about time we wake up from 4,000+ years of recorded history, and say, "You know, Beavis...this just ain't working."
Loved your simplistic style of the tiny dot! You are absolutley right! It's all an illusion! So, in other words we need to loose are learned moral obligations in order for truth! Right after I watched your video I realized your message. Like I said before, it's so simple a 4 year old could understand however; the Throng say's, But who will lead our people? Why in the heck do we need anyone to lead? Be your own leader Sheeples! Our Gov't has turned us into what we are today, mindless!!!
It can be useful to engage in the occasional politics, simply because it results in a much louder voice. The obvious example is Ron Paul. The idea is not to get him to be the president, obviously that is impossible, and even if it wasn't, it would really change little. The idea is to simply add our impetus to voices such as his, so that more hear the message or liberty. The freedom movement right now would be VASTLY smaller were it not for him. Rand Paul speaks much louder now, for instance.
@Panpiper So the dot heard a supposedly louder "voice." Now what? What good did it do? Other than LEGITIMIZING the game that anoints rulers, what else did that "voice"--or any attempt to achieve freedom via "politics"--ever accomplish?
@LarkenRose You misunderstand my point. I am NOT saying that achieving freedom through politics is feasible. I AM saying that people get exposed to the possibility that freedom can work, from louder voices such as Ron Paul. And being persuaded of that, their next question is, "How much freedom?" It is 'then' that you can be heard. I fear you either were not aware or do not remember the virtually silent wilderness that these ideas existed in prior to the last few years.
@Panpiper I'm not trying to nitpick--I think we agree on a bunch--but what is the actual message that a Ron Paul candidacy brings? Is it real self-ownership, or is it just a list of what we're going to ASK (via "the political system") our masters to LET us do? Having been advocating self-ownership for over 15 years, I'm well aware of the HUGE increase in people talking about such things. Given how long Ron Paul has been saying what he says, I think he is a SYMPTOM of that increase, not a cause.
@mwillis1000 Well, looking at your page, I'm guessing the question wasn't a joke. If you ever pause in your zealous cheering for your "team" in the nationalistic contest to see who can violently subjugate the world--while pretending they're doing it for freedom and justice--see if you can imagine a world of actually free people.
@mwillis1000 Thanks. Another "your an idiot." I've been collecting them. I think I'm up to six or seven of them, all from devout statists. What's really sad is that, inside your narrow authoritarian mindset, you seem to think that what you believe is the opposite of communism. It's not. You think that you support those who fight against unjustice and oppression. You don't. They put two masks on one insane, destructive myth, and let you pick which set of parasitic control freaks to cheer for.
@mwillis1000 My answer: self-ownership. Also known as "freedom." I own me, you own you. A simple answer for a simple question. Now is when you're supposed to say why that will "never work," and why a coercive, parasitic ruling class is necessary and legitimate.
Look, im not saying that governments should tax the shit out of the people and the people do nothing, but it was a question, communism clearly wasnt serious, i hate commies.
@mwillis1000 In principle, what is it about communism that you hate? (Communism is stupid and evil, but not because we're taught to hear it as a dirt word. I just want to know WHY you think so, and whether you can come up with any criticism of it that doesn't apply just as much to what you advocate.)
Great video man. You gave the best explanation there is. We don't have to fight any "dot". Just stop supporting and cooperating with its system

I like what your saying and doing. For so long I've thought the same way about 8yrs. I've used the costume/uniform idea. Which is one person dressed like Batman is just a nut wearing a costume. A 100 nuts wearing a Batman costume it becomes a uniform. Now that its a uniform these nuts get to order you around.
sedwrzwsr 2 months ago

So even if you were to ignore a government into disappearing, wouldn't the nieghboring government just move in.
sedwrzwsr 2 months ago
@sedwrzwsr Okay, so add a nearby island, with head-hunters on it, into the equation. THEN what would you do? Beg for someone to force you to fund and support their idea of defense? Or would you just let the head-hunters eat you, because there weren't any politicians and guys with badges around to save you? If there was an outside threat, would your first thought be, "Hey, we need someone on our island who bosses us around and takes what we produce!"? I'm guessing it wouldn't be.
LarkenRose 2 months ago
Your right. But what is the alternative? How are roads and bridges built? What about disputes between people? Where would those who violate the rights of others be kept or tried? Wouldn't we just be replacing government with government? What about lawyers and politicans would they just go away?
sedwrzwsr 2 months ago
@sedwrzwsr If you want to know the answer to your questions, imagine being on a desert island, with a hundred or so people. No one is "in charge." There is no "government" and no "authority." Just people. So, what would YOU do? How would YOU deal with various challenges and situations? Would you find ways to cooperate and organize voluntarily with others? Or would you, and everyone else, just sit there feeling helpless, because no one was telling everyone what to do?

@eddiehaskell7 Between having tantrums, maybe you should try opening your eyes and ears occasionally. The video is not complaining about people being rich. John Stuart Mill, On Liberty
37butterflyprincess 4 months ago
@37butterflyprincess Nice quote. Utter bunk. How can each individual owe a debt to "society," when society is nothing but a collection of individuals? The usual statist BS about "giving back to society" pretends that a group of violent, parasitic control freaks (the state) is somehow "society," but that all the voluntary trade and cooperation that goes on isn't.
LarkenRose 4 months ago
@LarkenRose so you just expect people to protect you from criminals with out you needing to give something back? you think a societies defense force should keep invaders out and you should enjoy those benefits without giving something in return? If others choose to pay to maintain roadways and you don't should you be permitted to use those roadways?
37butterflyprincess 4 months ago
@37butterflyprincess Are you really unable to see the difference between: A) you pay someone to do something, and in return he provides you a service, and; B) someone provides you a service you didn't ask for, and then forces you to pay whatever price he says? "Taxation" is the latter. It's immoral. Voluntary trade is the former. It's moral and useful. Did I really need to explain that?
LarkenRose 4 months ago 3
@37butterflyprincess I thought the exact same thing, did he really have to explain it to see the difference. Something so obvious sometimes is difficult to see I suppose.
hooverdog1957 2 months ago
@LarkenRose have you even READ John Stuart Mill? He also said "The only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others. His own good, either physical or moral, is not sufficient warrant." and "Whatever crushes individuality is despotism, by whatever name it may be called and whether it professes to be enforcing the will of God or the injunctions of men." yeah, that's REAL statist think there.
37butterflyprincess 4 months ago
@LarkenRose funny how people like you call socialist people free loaders, but they understand that receiving the benefits of society entails a certain responsibility to that society. it seems that militant libertarians think they should get all the benefits of living in a community but not have to contribute anything to that community. If you live in a community and don't pay to use the benefits of that society why should you be able to use enjoy those benefits?
37butterflyprincess 4 months ago
@LarkenRose "Though society is not founded on a contract, and though no good purpose is answered by inventing a contract in order to deduce social obligations from it, every one who receives the protection of society owes a return for the benefit, and the fact of living in society renders it indispensable that each should be bound to observe a certain line of conduct towards the rest."
37butterflyprincess 4 months ago
Respond to this video...(continued) "This conduct consists first, in not injuring the interests of one another; or rather certain interests, which, either by express legal provision or by tacit understanding, ought to be considered as rights; and secondly, in each person's bearing his share (to be fixed on some equitable principle) of the labours and sacrifices incurred for defending the society or its members from injury and molestation." John Stuart Mill, On Liberty
37butterflyprincess 4 months ago
I disagree with this video because of one simple question that I don't know the answer to. If I knew the answer, I would probably think you were completely right. The question is this:
Why is the setup (people on the right, dot on the left) a problem? What about it do you not like?
Tanglephish 4 months ago
@Tanglephish The tiny dot is a problem for the same reason carjackers and murderers are a problem: the initiation of violence is bad.
LarkenRose 4 months ago
@LarkenRose Wait: so you're saying that the government is a group of carjackers and murderers? That the government does nothing useful?
Tanglephish 3 months ago
@Tanglephish Even carjackers and murderers sometimes do useful things. That doesn't make carjacking and committing murder good. Why am I bothering to explain this?
LarkenRose 2 months ago
@LarkenRose My point is that you used a bad analogy--that you should not compare the government to a group of carjackers and murderers because they are completely different things. Unless you think that the gang is run by carjackers and murderers, which is a completely different story and very different from anything you have suggested so far.
Tanglephish 2 months ago
@Tanglephish is the dot not carjackers and murderers? If I don't give the dot money for a sticker on my car, they will come carjack it. As for murderers... Afganistan, Iran, Vietnam, etc.

AceOfHeart2012 6 months ago
No I do not think it's because of the LAW. You have to understand WHO really controls all these people who pass these laws that take away our freedom. On the top of the heap are the 13 families that own practically everything and have such a tight structure that over the years they have been able to get what they want thru strategic implementation. Call them the Illuminati, The cabal,The Globalists, I don't care. They are extremely organized and control presidents, dictators, they plan wars and
belindabell2 6 months ago
@belindabell2 Yes, it IS the "law." The WHO wouldn't matter, if the people didn't hallucinate a beast called "government." That's kind of the point. The problem is the perceptions and beliefs of the throng, which lead them to imagine that the dot actually has the right to rule them. It's the means by which the evil control freaks do what they do. Without statist mythology to work through, they would be powerless.

Kablepg 6 months ago
okay last thing im gonna say people for the most part know they own themselves but what you bring up is taxation being slavery, how they are stealing from you. thats not about owning yourself thats about owning your money, your money has nothing to do with yourself as you previously stated it is nothing but a medium of exchange. then you say im looney for believing in society. you can have most people hear they own themselves by simply saying Hey you, YOU OWN YOURSELF!..
Kablepg 6 months ago
@Kablepg Property rights, including money, extend from self ownership. If you argue that taxation is ok because *you* still own yourself (with no food, clothing, housing etc) then you are justifying the theft of anything and everything by the state or anyone else for that matter. Society does not require government to exist.
LordShandor 6 months ago
@LordShandor its okay, it just means im supposed to take it on your word that you own your house and your money. after all why should i believe you, i didn't witness you buying it. i never witnessed you earn it either. how do you plan to rectify this issue? hell as far as i know you could have stolen it yourself and just said you bought it. by definition if i believed you were a theif i don't need proof just that i believe it. so in that society i could just say your evil. sounds like fun.
Kablepg 6 months ago
@Kablepg What the hell are you even talking about? Its none of your business where my house or money came from. The only one who can raise a claim is someone who it may have been stolen from or someone who was i jured by it. Otherwise it is no one's business, period.

Also concerning slavery it was the biggest blemish on our republic and remains so. That being said the transition to a republic from being under the control of a monarch would never have been made if that slavery compromise had not been made. Read anything by Jefferson and the understanding of the situation comes to light.
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 So we went from about 4% taxation under a monarch, to what became about 50% total taxation under a "republic." Yippee. And slavery wasn't the only "blemish." There was that little thing about mass genocide of the people already living here. What you were taught about the great and glorious representative republic which would serve and protect the people is 100% horse poop.
LarkenRose 6 months ago
@LarkenRose I didn't say slavery was our only blemish I said it was our biggest. I agree taxation is out of hand and that those who discovered and settled this continent were brutal killers of those indigenous people but I'm not arguing any of that. I'm simply saying that a Constitutional republic such as that was created here is the best form of government known to human kind and I also acknowledge that there is a need for a government. At no time did I advocate a large powerful nanny.
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 You think there "is a need for a government" because, first and foremost, you think that "government" actually exists. It doesn't, and it can't. As much as I'd like to type the whole book over again, 500 characters at a time, I don't really have the time. Most people don't WANT to know if their world view is based on bogus assumptions, so they vehemently and irrationally try to defend what is insane. If that does NOT describe you, read "The Most Dangerous Superstition."
LarkenRose 6 months ago
Or an authoritarian government. I simply understand that there is a need for the rights of the people to be orderly protected and for the adjudicating of disputes. In other words until people are perfect there is a need for respect of some kind of "law". A republic allows for those within the society to be governed not only to be the government but to make the laws. Society decided to give that away in this country. Bad idea in my opinion it has failed.
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 You claim that until people are perfect, all of us nasty, imperfect people need to bow to some kind of "law." 1) For the ones who don't mind being nasty to people, why would they care about "law"? 2) If "laws" are needed to keep us imperfect people in line, what SPECIES is writing these "laws"? Whether it's a "Republic," or any other flavor of ruling class, giving one group the supposed right to rule, and supposed PERMISSION to initiate violence against innocents, does NOT help.
LarkenRose 6 months ago
Your idea of anarchy however seems as utopian in practice as communism. Both sound great but neither will ever work as well as a republican government.
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 Anarchy is not just what should be; it is what IS. The delusion/superstition of "government"--the notion that certain documents and pseudo-religious rituals can actually bestow upon someone the right to rule--is the problem. The people escaping the cult of "authority"-worship won't make everyone good, or smart, but it will eliminate the vast majority of injustice in the world, which is not the result of personal malice, but the result of obedience to an imagined "authority."
LarkenRose 6 months ago
@LarkenRose since all forms of government are imperfect because man is imperfect what is your solution for protection of individual rights and adjudicating disputes? What do you do when someone destroys your property and refuses to replace, repair, or in some way suitable to you compensate you for damages. Property rights are the key to your freedoms you yourself admitted so how do those disputes get settled without someone being authorized force to handle them?
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 Look at your own question. As statists always do--and as I did for most of my life--you imagine that there must be a centralized, forcibly-imposed authoritarian "plan" or "system" to make society work. In other words, you still want an all-knowing, all-powerful nanny to save the day. There's a reason I keep bugging people to read "The Most Dangerous Superstition." Everything you're arguing, I argued for years.
LarkenRose 6 months ago
@LarkenRose No I'm totally against an authoritarian plan or central system. I just recognize the need for a system of protection of rights and property as well as an orderly way to adjudicate disputes. It sounds to me like you are advocating a society sans any rules. How does that work when people start to act accordingly, in other words survival of the fittest? I'm simply wondering how much better your "plan" for society is than that of our so flawed (in your estimation) founders?
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 You are NOT totally against an authoritarian plan or central system, since that's what "government" always is. You talk of my "plan" because, like most people, you have only ever thought within the paradigm of an over-arching "system." I'm not running for Emperor of Anarchy. My "plan" is for people to grasp that they each own themselves, and that they are beholden only to their own consciences, NOT any outside "authority." (I might send you a free book, if you promise to read it.)
LarkenRose 6 months ago
@LarkenRose I would love to read your book. I just want an answer to one question here though. What happens when the biggest and strongest in society decide to take advantage of the weakest and smallest? What happens when one of them takes everything from you and does horrible things to your family? How does that get rectified?
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 ill answer that for him you do nothing, you just laugh and ignore him.
Kablepg 6 months ago
All that being said I really do love your message of self ownership and independence from government and that government only has power because we continue to recognize them. All of this is so true and the size and scope of government is within our control as well as soon as people realize this and decide to take some kind of action (inaction and disobedience is also action) then we will own our lives again.
Misguided76 6 months ago
That's why he said "the tree of liberty from time to time needs to be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants".
Misguided76 6 months ago
@LarkenRose That question is loaded and the reason is that people are not perfect and therefore no government can be perfect. That being the case is exactly the argument for needing some form of government. But to answer the question there have been two governments that had done a fairly good job of it for a time and that's the Roman's and us. Both were corrupted and failed to accomplish the task in the end but the fault is that of the people. Jefferson knew this to be the case.
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 People are not perfect ... and therefore SOME people need to have permission to commit violent aggression against everyone else. Brilliant. That is the essence of statism, in all its insanity. Funny you mention the Roman and original U.S. authoritarian ruling classes, both of which VIOLENTLY ENFORCED OVERT SLAVERY. You call that doing a "fairly good job" of being only defenders of individual rights? Gack. "Government" has ALWAYS been an aggressor, and by its very nature, MUST be.
LarkenRose 6 months ago
Now what happens after that is that members of the throng see how the dot can collect large sums of money so they decide to ask the dot to do so to better that particular group of the throng in return of course for further support to remain part of the dot. The problem is not "government" or "law" it's corrupt government not obeying it's own law. Constitutional government as arranged by our founders limits government to doing it's only job. PROTECTING OUR RIGHTS.
Misguided76 6 months ago
I agree with 95% of what you are saying. I think what you are missing is that the throng puts up with the dot because we, the throng, created the dot to organize protection of our rights from members of the throng who would infringe on our rights and from foreign invaders who might do the same. In order to do that the dot needs money that the throng agrees to give it.
Misguided76 6 months ago
@Misguided76 The mythology the throng is taught is that the throng MADE the dot, and AGREED to give it power, so it could serve and protect the throng. All of that is utter BS. It's what we are taught so we don't recognize the obvious master-slave relationship. Let me ask you what I've asked over and over again here, without ever getting an answer: Name ONE "government," anywhere in the world, at any point in history, that ONLY protected rights and defended against aggressors.
LarkenRose 6 months ago
Yup, i fixed whats between my ears.. and now? we wait for people to change? the thing is people will never change because they are told what to do. We just gotta show this to them, wake them up. exept of finding ways to kill the dot, lets figure out a way to bring the truth to the people.
OldSchoolRapNigga 6 months ago
@OldSchoolRapNigga The problem AND the solution exists entirely between our ears. Those of us who, for whatever reason, have escaped the lie, have to do whatever we can to drag as many others out of the Matrix as are willing to see reality. Unfortunately, in the meantime, lots of seriously nasty crap is going to happen.

i just noticed something ironic, anyone else notice larken saying to me money is not evil even though for years im sure we have all heard money is the root of all evil XD.
Its only a medium of exchange if no one is able to controll it. like the givernment we are the ones who give it meaning, might we send ourselves back to the stone ages getting rid of it, eh not really because its not like if we get rid of money we will suddenly become retarded cavemen just trying to invent the wheel.
Kablepg 6 months ago
@Kablepg Yes, we've all heard that money is the root of all. The fact that we've all heard it doesn't make it any less ridiculous. And yes, we WOULD be thrown back, not quite to caveman existence, but close. What you're suggesting is NO MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE. Why? No FIAT currency, yeah. But why do think that trading efficiently--with silver, gold, whatever--is inherently bad? You're not reinventing the wheel; you're trying to abolish the wheel, and that WOULD throw us back, a lot.
LarkenRose 6 months ago
@LarkenRose well ironically money gold silver was not the first form of economy, Bartering was however the first form, so to say that it would be abolishing the wheel would suggest that money is first but heres the thing, if you moved to lets say an island with a billion US dollars would you be able to make a life there or would it be just as meaningless and would you actually have to work for your living. all money does is allow excess happen,
Kablepg 6 months ago
@LarkenRose excess of money that you don't spend it on means you have to be part of the society well even having money with no regulations or good and upstanding people which you might have more faith in than i do many people would go hungry many people would never be paid for their labor. and everyone would have to work off the sweat of their brow to eat every day but if they had to pay someone for the seeds they could not afford it im sure. you can't have a medium of exchange without rules
Kablepg 6 months ago
So what's this guy's point? We all stop paying our taxes? To what end? Of course there's plenty to bitch about regarding gov't. But does this guy want to do w/out police, fire dept, military, schools, roads, etc, etc, etc? This is simplistic claptrap.
fretbuzz59 7 months ago
I have to sadly state that even you Larken are focusing on the wrong issue. It is not the issue of should we keep our money should we ignore the dot. The True problem is should we be putting so much worth into a worhtless piece of paper?
Would we still hold it to be important if we used rocks instead of dollars. The true question you should be asking yourself is should we put so much into money? Should money be held so high as the most important thing in the world. I hope to hear back fro you.
Kablepg 7 months ago
@Kablepg As a mere medium of exchange, money is not evil. It's just a simplified way for two people to trade the fruits of their labors, which is useful if we want to live beyond caveman existence. FIAT currency, which is counterfeit fraud, is evil. It's people sneakily stealing the productivity of others by means of a deception. But the way they always implement that is via paid-for permission from the king du jour (e.g., the Federal Reserve Act of 1913). So "government" is STILL the problem.
LarkenRose 7 months ago
@LarkenRose Your question to everyone from the video is why does the DoT have power? and the answer is simple, fear, people fear what might happen to them despite the fact that over the years we have proven that brain and ingenuity at the precipe of civalization and its destruction. and the problem is money is the power in our world the more you have the more powerful you are but guess what all countries are in debt, which when you think about it how is it possible that every country has debt?
Kablepg 7 months ago
@LarkenRose That is a SImple question where is all the money if no one has it? the people with the real power in the world have it. the government may create it but if they DO create it why would they possibly have debt? thats where i think most people are confused the Government is not the problem but merely a pawn or puppet if you will easy to blame because we are not connected to it. while it seems easy to blame the government but over history thats what humanity comes back to.
Kablepg 7 months ago
@LarkenRose Brain and ingenuity is what frees us. Money is simply a tool used to control the masses. i mean think about it. in order to buy a house do you have to ask the government if you can? no you have to ask a bank if they will let you borrow the money to buy it because you yourself couldnt afford it. i mean we have to ask to eat, we have to ask to talk to others. we have to ask someone to survive.
Kablepg 7 months ago
@Kablepg What the poop? What you just described is not the fault of money. It's the fault of state theft ("taxation"), plus the fraudulent currency and banking system we have. To blame MONEY for us being poor is like blaming FOOD for us being hungry.
LarkenRose 6 months ago
@LarkenRose Okay i believe you misunderstood me, i don't blame money for being poor because the irony without money there is no status of "poor", which kinda makes me laugh. i put it this way, if we continue to use the US dollar or any government owned and opperated currency we will fall under their rules. i said THIS currency is a piece of the problem. technically they own the currency so that does give them the rights to tax it. just like you owning food gives you the right to sell it.
Kablepg 6 months ago
@LarkenRose i will even go so far to say that the original government set up was pretty smart they collectively announced and we agreed to living in the US means the US owns all the land. if you wish to build on it you must get a permit. cause technically the government does own the land, so as payment for each year you are living on that land in your house which you own the deed to the house but not the land. it has not been yours for a long time.
Kablepg 6 months ago
@Kablepg Gack, gack. Every time I think you're starting to make sense, you say something looney. Now, while you bash trading with...well, almost anything... you think it was GOOD for "government" to pretend to own all the land? Then you bicker about "excess" wealth? Have you been possessed by the spirit of Karl Marx, or what?
LarkenRose 6 months ago
@LarkenRose wow now who is saying looney shit, pretend to own all the land? did you really just ask that? what happens when you move to a desert island and make your life then someone decides to move there too, your pretending to own the land yourself if you do anything, if he takes part of the food then he is "stealing from you" because you were there first and you "own the land".
Kablepg 6 months ago
@Kablepg Also, if you're just saying people are too superficial and materialistic, I'd agree. But that usually mainly hurts the short-sighted people being that way. If people could only hurt THEMSELVES with their stupidity, the world would be a lot better place.
LarkenRose 7 months ago
@LarkenRose maybe you can help Larken, I am trying to sum up the only two rules/laws? that we need obey. I know they're both part of most religious texts and the 10 commandments, (note:I do not follow any religion other than my own understandings and common sense) and they are, to put it simply, do not steal, do not harm. If it was possible for every one of us to be humble and live honestly then there would be no problems. I really think you should get in contact with Max Igan (aodscarecrow)
alyncurtis 7 months ago
@LarkenRose (1) I also meant to say this: for some time now I have realised that the complexities involved in helping people see the big picture (when they have ultimately been brain washed since the day they were born) and the implications involved are massive. People appear to want to be governed and although I personally see 99% of everything as completely superficial, pointless and...
alyncurtis 7 months ago
@LarkenRose (2) ...ultimately just one form or another of distraction to that which is real, this is, after all, just my own opinion. I therefore believe that sadly some form of government is necessary to keep the masses in check within a system. However, I do believe that a brand new form of government with COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY of every transaction and process needs to be implicated to save us from the blatantly corrupt current system. Your thoughts? Alyn.
alyncurtis 7 months ago
@alyncurtis The fact that many are too brainwashed to even begin to consider reality doesn't make "government" a good thing. If the people were stupid and irresponsible, and there WAS such a thing as an all-powerful, wise, noble super-nanny to keep them in line, then yes, that might be the best we could do for now. But the "super-nanny" takes the stupidity and irresponsibility of people, and increases the damage it does a thousand-fold. Letting people be unthinking slaves doesn't help anyone.

Obligation? How can that be, when the taxes are automatically taken from my check before I see it? Really, the way to argue about taxes is to eliminate the automatic paycheck deductions and have the taxpayers actually write a check every month, quarter or year, that would probably help change "The Tiny Dot" situation.

DecentralizedByGuilt 10 months ago
It can be useful to engage in the occasional politics, simply because it results in a much louder voice. The obvious example is Ron Paul. The idea is not to get him to be the president, obviously that is impossible, and even if it wasn't, it would really change little. The idea is to simply add our impetus to voices such as his, so that more hear the message or liberty. The freedom movement right now would be VASTLY smaller were it not for him. Rand Paul speaks much louder now, for instance.
Panpiper 10 months ago
@Panpiper So the dot heard a supposedly louder "voice." Now what? What good did it do? Other than LEGITIMIZING the game that anoints rulers, what else did that "voice"--or any attempt to achieve freedom via "politics"--ever accomplish?
LarkenRose 10 months ago
@LarkenRose You misunderstand my point. I am NOT saying that achieving freedom through politics is feasible. I AM saying that people get exposed to the possibility that freedom can work, from louder voices such as Ron Paul. And being persuaded of that, their next question is, "How much freedom?" It is 'then' that you can be heard. I fear you either were not aware or do not remember the virtually silent wilderness that these ideas existed in prior to the last few years.
Panpiper 10 months ago
@Panpiper I'm not trying to nitpick--I think we agree on a bunch--but what is the actual message that a Ron Paul candidacy brings? Is it real self-ownership, or is it just a list of what we're going to ASK (via "the political system") our masters to LET us do? Having been advocating self-ownership for over 15 years, I'm well aware of the HUGE increase in people talking about such things. Given how long Ron Paul has been saying what he says, I think he is a SYMPTOM of that increase, not a cause.
