I also first heard this track on "Fill Your Head with Rock" when I was 16! It had a strange effect on me ... they hang the alley cats on Gibsom Street .... but she became a fascination for me thereafter and I was lucky to get hold of her albums and I recommend you try to do the same. No one ever sounded like this.

@JSWren I was 25 in 1970. Such an impression! That voice is pure joy! My head was filled with Laura Nyro. Couldn't get a record of her.
