I went to New York City for the first time yesterday, and I really wanted to see the Eloise portrait at the Plaza. Everyone there was so friendly, and they even have an Eloise Boutique! I got my little sister (who still loves Eloise even though she's 11) a magnet.

I used to pretend to be Eloise when I was younger. My name is actually Sophia too (same as Sofia Vassileva, who plays Eloise) haha. Once at this one hotel, they called me Eloise because I would always skip around the hotel and say hi to everyone and always want to help out and do "hotel stuff". I go to that hotel almost every year, and to this day they still call me that :)

The Eloise books were my absolute favorites as a girl. I always thought if they were ever made into a movie, Dakota Fanning would have been the PERFECT Eloise since she was such a precocious little girl. with Julie Andrews as Nannie it would have been just perfect!
