I love the whole album, but this is probably my favourite song on it. So gentle and understated, at first listen one could easily miss what a complex song this is.

Try to snap your fingers to follow the rythm. They go from 3/4 to 4/4 in a jiff! This Joe Morello is great!

@Franckzer dave brubeck was the first jazz musician on the cover of time magazine some thought it should have been duke ellington but dave brubeck was getting hit records then in 1971 dave brubeck performed at newport the police incited a riot a record was issued the last set at newport

I love everything by Brubeck. Lucky me, my dad must have had this album when I was born. Still loving it. Excellent bass and sax, and of course, PIANO!

Awesome!!!! Dave Brubeck and his quartet totally rock! This song was recorded when I was 2 years old, and I did not discover this wonderful piece until 30 years later! Thanks so much for posting!
