  • my lips have no color, i am very light complexion and want to wear a nude lip color and I am 46 yrs old, what do u suggest? I purchased laura geller's lip,eye and face spackle.

  • @ghostlady2011 mac has a great one also that is more nude then grey!

  • how would that look on dark skin??

  • @dynopup94 it would be to grey! :o(

  • wow your look has evolved over the last two years!!

I would love to see an updated video on this products and others you loved a few years ago.

    Thank you, Lisa!

  • I want to use this product to keep lipstick from bleeding. QUESTIONS:

Does face primer and base go on first and then lip spackle? Should the lip spackle go slightly outside of my lip line? How often do you need to re-apply it? Every time you re-apply lip stick or gloss? OR just once in the morning?

  • @LivingTOOgood somewhat- it is more to help mute out your naturl lip color. I put it on right before my lip stick, only use it on your lips not past them since it can look grey, I re apply before the color I am trying to use- mostly it is only when I am at home

  • can the lip spackle be used alone or is it ment to be more to b used under iipstick/gloss??

  • @00dRivera under lipstick = it is to grey to use alone!

  • Concealer wouldn't work as well as this because it would smudge with the lipstick instead of giving you a true color

  • You are so awesome Lisa! Love ya girl! Keep those bomb reviews comin!

  • It looks very peptobismol pink on my lips :( and it also gets on my lipsticks/products that i use on top of it.. has that happened to you?

  • have you tried mac's lip erase? they no longer have laura geller at sephora---is mac's lip erase comparable?

  • I have heard it is similar more nude toned than grey toned! You can also try concealer! Good Luck!

  • i think i may try it....i use concealer and it's way too drying....it leaves a line across my lips---:(

  • Hey, thank you for the review! Do you by any chance have the ingredients of this product - namely, does it contain carmine (CI 75470)? Also, does it make the natural colour of ur lips duller once u take it off? Thanks! :)

    xx

  • I actually dont have the box anymore- you could probably contact the company customer service and they can tell you! :o)

  • u r so beautiful!! and that lipstick looks so pretty on u and ur eyes r gorgeous!! ha. love ur vids!

  • foundation works, but it dried out my lips.

  • is this better than the mac lip erase?

  • I have not yet tried the MAC lip erase- sorry!

  • would u say it helps keep on the lip product better, more so then without this lip spackle?

  • yes it stays on better with teh spakle. :o)

  • Hi there, Can you use foundation instead? and do you need to blot it with powder? what do you recommend

    Thanks

  • yes you can use foundation. This prodcut just fills the little lines better! Enjoy!

  • does this product help make your lipstick stay on?

  • it mutes the color of your lips and helps slightley to keep the color on a little bit stronger but it doesn stay on great! :o(

  • I was curious to the consistency of this? Is it creamy? And does it make your lips feel drying at all, and how long does it last throughout the day? thanks!

  • It is pretty think and a little drying! It only lasts a few hours!

  • I heard about this product originally from another makeup guru kandeejohnson here on YT. It's such a wonderful product!! Now I can wear ANY type of nude lipsticks.

  • yeah kandee is awesome! I hope you like it! :o)

  • Does it fill in lines on the lips?

  • Slightly but not a lot!

  • Can you please do a comparison between the lip spackle and the MUFE lip concealer pencil. Show us how each looks with the same whatever lipstick you use!! Id appreciate it, I want to buy one or the other!!!! thanks!

  • I dont think i am goign to buy the MUFE one sice this one will last me so long and I cant see a need for both! maybe when this one is done! Sorry! I heard better things about this one though on MUA! :o)

  • About how much is the lip Spackle ?

  • unfortunetly I dont remember- you can find it at sephrora online though! :o) Sorry I couldnt help more!

  • Its ok, I have pink lips and thought this might help. Thankx for the videos !!!

  • it's $23!

  • Thanks Lisa! I added this to my ever growing shopping cart on Sephora.

Do you find that it helps with the staying power of lipsticks? have you tried it with lipglosses?

    You rock!

  • haha! I am glad that you liked the review! :o) it does help with the staying power on lipsticks- I have not tried it with lip gloss yet though! Interesting I will have to try!

  • I cant find my comment to reply but its a foundation.

  • haha! Gotcha! :o)

  • are there any dupes? Im a broke college grad looking for work so i gotta be cheap lol

  • the only inexpesive dupe that is close is your concealer! Enjoy! :o)

  • I must get this product becuase my lips are too pink! I usually use concealer or Mac paint and my lips get so dry from it. Thanks for this tip, Lisa.

  • yay! I am gla dthis helped you- also heads up- the first layer is a little drying then once you get past it it isnt as bad! :o)

  • I have the lip & eye spackle combo and the lavender lip spackle erases the redness of my lips but when I apply a light pink lipstick over it it comes out light pink with lavender undertones :( Is there a beige lip spackle out?

  • interesting I havent had that problem yet! Sorry it doesnt work that great for you! I have not seen a beige lip spackle but MAC makes a beige lip errase paste! I hope this helps you! :o)

  • do u like it better then macs lip erase and what did u pay for it

  • I have not tried the lip errase. I forget what I paid- I got it at sephora! :o)

  • Great review. I'm definitely gonna check this product out. thx lisa.

  • I am glad you enjoyed the review! :o) Enjoy!

  • do you think you could do a review on The Colossal Mascara by Maybelline?

  • I will look in to it! :o)

  • lipsticks and lipglosses mostly :)

  • I will look in to the NYX ones- I dont really have any interest in UD!

  • i wish i had your natural lip colour

  • aww you are too sweet! Thanks!

  • Hi, interesting review but I wonder - can't you do that with foundation or concealer instead? :)

  • yes you can but they wont fill in the lines around your lips though! :o)

  • QVC hasLaura Geller's lip spackle for $23and a lot of her other spackles, too. Lisa, does this dry out your lips?

  • great tip! Thanks for posting it! I dont find it drying! :o)

  • Wow, those are you lips with nothing on them? Your very lucky.... if I wear no lipstick I look like a corpse!

  • haha! You are so sweet! Thanks! :o)

  • concealer works the same way

  • yes it does! The only thing that this does that is different is that it fills in the lines around the lips also! :o)

  • I ordered some today Lisa after watching your video. I have pigmented lips, so it's going to be great to achieve a true neutral.

  • yay! I hope you love it too! :o)

  • I'm so glad you did this review. I have to get this, now! I have super-pink lips w/out putting anything on them. I've always had a problem w/ lipsticks and such not really showing their true color on me.

  • yay! I am glad you foudn this review helpful! :o) I hope you love it too!

  • my lips are super-pink as well. Light pinks and any light color never show up

  • Can you do a review on the Lancome Teint odole ultra pretty please, if you have it or have tried it thanks =)

  • I have never heard of that- what is it?

  • Hey Lisa! Thanks for the review; I was really interested in getting this product.

Does the lip spackle dry out your lips? Would you recommend putting a balm underneath it, then putting on the spackle? Or just spackledstraight on bare lips? Could someone with dry and flaky lips use this product?

  • I dont find this to be drying! The first layer was a little bit! I put it directly on to my lips no balm under it! I hope this helps you! :o)

  • u look different i dont know why:)) in a nice way:))

  • aww thanks! :o)

  • you look really pretty. your natural lip color is amazing. I also love your top!

  • aww thanks you are so sweet! :o)

  • i think you have a really beautiful natural lip color. before u told us that u werent wearing anything, i was wondering what lipstick you were wearing. :)

  • aww hanksso much! :o)

  • Btw, you've got such an awesome natural lip colour! It's a perfect light mauve! I'd trade any day lol

  • aww thanks so much! :o)

  • I so did not expect this to get a good review! I'm so intrigued! Is there anything you can think of that compares to this? I've been looking for something that would do what this does for a long long time bc I have RED lips. Redredred. I wish we had a sephora here...

  • There is Lip erase from mac and some peopel say concealer works too but it wont fill the lines around your lips! You can give those a try! :o)

  • I like your natural lip color!!!! its like fashion mews colour

  • aww thanks so much you are so sweet! :o)

  • Great Vid!

I love this stuff as well.

If anyone is interested, QVC sells this and sometimes has it at a very good price

  • Great tip! Thanks for posting it! :o)

  • I have to try this for my pigmented lips.does this dry your lips? as always nice review.

  • great review have you tried the eye spackle? i heard it great

  • I have not tried the eye spackle, btu I want to try it! :o)

  • I do like the lip spackle.... have you tried the laura geller eye spackle? i use it as a primer/base for eyeshadows. I would love to know what you think of the eye spackle? It keeps the shadow looking true and stops creasing, although i don't know how it compares to mac paint pot or UDPP.

Thanks for your review :) x

  • I have not tried the eye spackle but I want to! :o) I will put it in a haul if I get it!

  • I think I will be getting that soon. :-]

  • it is a totally cool product! :o)

  • great review!!!<333

  • Thanks so much! :o)

  • there is a combo lip/eye spackle out. Which one is the lip spackle the more lavender one or the beige one?

  • I have not seen a combo one- I will keep my eyes open for it because I want to try the eye one anyway! :o) Thsi one is the lavender one!

  • Love to know how this compares to Mac Lip Erase. I heard LE is really drying. I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know. Nice review.

  • I have not tried the LE- I have heard it is drying too! :o)

  • I'm so glad you did this! Have you tried the Mac lip erase? Does the spackle get on the actual lipstick? Does it smooth out your lips like primer? Can you tell I've been interested in this?! Thanks! Lisa

  • hey girl- I have not tried the lip erase- I have heard it is very drying! :o( The spackle evens out the lip color and it fills in teh lines around the lips like a primer. The color does not transfer to the lip color either! :o) Totally a cool product! :o)

  • I am using this too. I think it gives a nice base and you get the true color of the lipstick. Thanks LASE96 I am going to try the Max Factor Panstick next time.

  • I am glad you like it too! Glad the tip on here was helpful for you! :o)

  • have you used it with lollipop lovin?

Since its such a sheer lipstick i was wondering how much of an effect the lip spackle had on it

  • I have not tried it with that one yet! I will have to give it a try! Thanks! :o)

  • I have the lip and eye spackle and I love them both. the Lip spackle works wonders for us with red lips who like a nude lip...Such a great product. thanks for the review.

  • yay! I am glad you love them too! :o) I am goign to try the eye one next! :o)

  • This on my wish list! Does it work good with lipgloss? A lot of my light pigmented Mac lipglosses fall into the lines of my lips and just look awful on me!

  • It does help keep the gloss from falling in to fine lines! the new line filler from mac works for the lines too! :o)

  • Girl, you ALWAYS read my mind! I was looking at the on-line and at Sephora because my lips are SO pigmented so I needed something like that, but I was undecided. Now, I am decided! Thanks SO much!

    :)

  • yay! I am glad you enjoyed the review and it helped you! :o)

  • Hi Lisa! Another great video :) What did you use to style your hair? It looks amazing!

  • thanks- that is just what my hair does after I blow dry it! My hair goes in weird directions! :oP

  • also I forgot to ask, which highlight do you use on you browbone its allways so pretty :)?

  • It depends each day is different. I post what I am wearing in the description box! I hope that helps you! :o)

  • Do you think this is comparable to MAC Lip erase? Have you ever tried the lip erase? I'm intrigued about this!

  • i have not tried lip erase! I love this stuff though! :o)

  • wonder if you could do a rewiew on some NYX or Urban dekay stuff :)?

  • I dont own any NYX stuff and I only have 1 es and UDPP from UD. What were you looking for a review on?

  • As always, great review! Max Factor PanStik works just as well and it's a third the price, plus you can substitute it for foundation/cover-up (gotta love multi-tasking makeup). The PanStik is compared to MAC's Lip Erase when applied to the lips.

  • great tip! :o) Thanks for posting it!

  • i two have used the panstick, i got this of my mom she uses this all the time. i thought they stopped doing this product, so yes i argree with you it does work well.

  • Hi Lisa, based on your recommendation in one of your videos a couple weeks ago, I bought Lip Spackle. You're right - it really works! It's the best product of its kind I've ever tried, & like you I'll buy it again....maybe sometime next year cause just a tiny bit goes so far!! Thanks so much for letting me know about this!

  • yay! i am glad you tried it and love it! I think it will last a long long time! :o)

  • Wow, why didn't I know of this product sooner?? I have very pigmented lips and have been looking forever for something to neutralize the color. One question, is it dyring in any way? Most of them seem to accentuate any dryness on the lips. Thanks for the great review.

  • I am gla dyou saw this video then! It will really help with pigemented lips! :o) At first I thought it was drying, but once you get used to it it is just matt! I dont have any problems with it once the lipstick is on! Good luck!

  • Thanks! I just added that to my list of needs! x

  • yay! You will love it girl! Loving the liners! :o)

  • Hey Lisa!!! One question, what color and brand do you use on your hair??? BTW! Your reviews are fantatstic.

  • I am not ure I have a hair dresser that does it for me! :o)

  • i love love love lip spackle, I'm glad you're talking about it because it really is a great product! :) Everyone should know about it haha

  • yay! I am glad you love it too! :o)

  • I just love your reviews sweetie and just wanted to let you know you do such a great job and helped me tremendously with many products. ((hugs))

    Kimmy

  • great review. keep up the good work, i always listen to you and you give good sound advise.

  • I am so gla dyou enjoy the reviews! :o)

  • thank you lisa, where do you find the time to keep every one happy and answered, i do not know, you are sweet and kind, you must be so busy.? thank you for the reviews, they help all of us to maybe choose a product that will help us all, before we go out and buy. i have in the past made some right boo boos and they hurt the purse like mad, when you have got it wrong. which was often but not any more.lol

  • haha! I really enjoy this and I am lucky that I can take the time and play on YT and respond to people daily! :o)

  • I really like the idea of that :) Usually, I just use concealer.. but I might invest in something a bit better..

    Thanks for the review! xx

  • Concealer does work the similar but the lip spackle has more of a grey indertone that give you a really neutral lip! Enjoy! :o)
