I don't think Harry Potter died. Maybe now it's not too exposed as before but I think books that took 5 years to plan and almost 10 years to finish the last series died that easily. Twilight, yes, will die because the lack of planning and the books and movies came out so quickly. Many people still visit HP amusement park and park can not just disappears. Like Lord of The Ring. it doesn't expose anymore but the fan base still strong.
Twilight will die out eventually like Harry Potter.... EVENTUALLY... At some point in the coming centuries.....then something new will come along. Like TeenageMutantSparklingWizards

You know, the worst thing about this twilight-madness for me is ... well, do you know the "Nightwatch" book (and the rest of the 'watch' series)? That were written by a really great russian novelist and the "twilight" in these books was some kind of sub-space in the existing worlds, unfolding into 7 layers that no human could enter - only the "others" could. No fair that a great series like this doesn't get popular. Well, reading this requires brains so that might be the reason. :D

@Raegh I haven't read that book, but we rented the movie one night and both my husband and I just fell in love with the plotline. For me, I'd rather read the book before seeing a movie, but since I rented it, I have no regrets watching it. It was such a complicated story like I enjoy.

Ha ha, I believe you can like a series, be a fan about it. But when you go out and bash someone like this just because they don't like it - you've got a problem. I was, and kind of still am, a Twilight fan. However, I can see why people hate it, and I'm not the biggest fan either. I mean, they books were well written. But otherwise, not much to boast.
