  • ya well im 6 months old and im off plus 9 and hit my driver 800 yards

  • That's awesome Ethan!!!

  • 8 under is good, but the holes are like 100metres long lol

  • 1:40 sounds like the guy from southpark

  • Ethan this is Jacob once again can you make a video on chipping with long irons my coach tells me you need to learn how to chip with every club in your bag. is this true, if so can you please make a video on how to do it? Thank you.

  • @theJCRballer: I think what your coach was trying to say, is that you need to learn how to chip with every irons and you always chip the same way. If you want the ball to go different yardages, change clubs. Don’t change your stance or anything else in your stroke. Please check out my “Chipping Essentials” video. ~Ethan~

  • @myc724 Ethan, this is alec, i haven't talked to you, just left some positive comments, but my coach, leonard, says i need my swing to be square to the ball, lined up to where i am aiming, and my arms need to be very high, and not "flat", can you do a video on swing essentials or something like that? I am very confused and my dad doesnt know what to do as well. Only if you have the time to do this, thanks.

    Alec

  • @FanOfHoneydew: I think what your coach is trying to say, is that your club face needs to be facing where you are aiming. I don't quite understand the second part, but I wouldn't raise my arms. My arms lead my takeaway, but after that my arms go with my body. ~Ethan~

  • Im so jealous i play in tournaments and i dont play this good

  • @swingman211 : No, you can use any clubs. ~Ethan~

  • you can RIP it Ethan nice job good putting

  • Wow thats awesome. His setup and mannerisms make him seems like a pro player

  • did you come first

  • @HarrySpeakman: No, I lost in a playoff. ~Ethan~

  • @myc724 oh unlucky hope you win some time

  • @myc724 haha (sad laugh) so unlucky

  • Who cares if its a shortened course.....youre just mad you werent as good as he is when you were his age.....very nice and powerful swing for someone his age keep it up

  • Ethan is an insanely good golf player. He has a bright future ahead of him. I’m a young adult and new to golf, watching Ethan’s videos has been very helpful in teaching me how to play. Thanks Ethan! Keep up the good work!

  • I got an eagle on the 1st hole of my tournament i hit my driver,7 iron, and then made like a 5 foot putt. I didnt shoot 8 under though. I also had a couple birdies.

  • next jack niclaus...sorry if i misspelled

  • Was this kid tought by tiger woods?... No,because this kid is actually good...

  • WOW.

  • WOW..excellent fundamentals

  • Great swing....if this kid does not become too cocky and keeps up with the game...he could have a bright future in this sport

  • total 1100 yards

  • how long was the course?

  • @skeenda1 The Par 5 was 245 yards.

  • He has the mannerisms of a mature adult. A bit scary...

  • this kid id amazing!!! everytime i see him play he just gets better. i was wondring if he has a handicap? anyways ethan keep up the great work!!!

  • @intheloo2 : Thanks! He does not have handicap. He plays USKG yardage which is shorten by age. So, he can break even most of time.

  • @intheloo2 ; thanks! most of the tournament he played shorten the yardage by age, so he can break even-par very often.

  • shit hes probably better than me

  • plus he is the nicest and most respectful kids I have ever met. His dad is even tempered, knowledgable and lets Ethan play his own game. We love to play with Ethan because it is not a game of egos..... Ethan you have the right attitude and it is an honor to play with you at the tournaments -- Nancy Marble (John's mom)

  • Hi, Nancy & John: Congratulation, fabulous job in Jekyll Island! You must be really excited flying home with a big trophy. Thanks for your compliments and Ethan also enjoys to play with you. We definitely will see you guys more often in the future tour. Cheers!

  • Amazing! This kid's swing fundamentals are perfect, along with those of his short game and putting stroke, not to mention superb touch around the greens. All he needs when he gets older is distance control with his irons, because distance/accuracy will not be a problem off the tee given his fundamentals. This kid will be good!

  • how long is a par 5 and par 4? My son he's 4 and he plays from the red. I really want to start him on the right distance for his age, thanks in advance!

  • par 5 is about 175 ~ 190 yards, par 4 is 110 ~ 130 yards, and par 3 is 75 ~ 85 yards. Total is

    1130.

  • how long is a par 3, 4, 5 for a 10 year old

  • for a 10 year old :

    par 3: 100 ~ 140 yards

    par 4: 250 ~ 330 yards

    par 5: 360 ~ 420 yards

  • Hey Ethan, gr8 golf dude. Your driving, approach shots and putting were simply awesome.

I'll be playing in both San Diego and Pinehurst this summer, so let's have a few practice rounds together in San Diego beforehand.

Cheers from Downunder, Karl and his Dad.

  • Hi Karl, thanks! I am looking forward to play with you again. My mom said we will arrive SD on Jul. 11. And, my dad said youtube does not allow us to post email/url in comment. So, when your travel scheduling is done, please send me an email at the address shown on my website.

    Be good,

    Ethan

  • Hey Ethan,

Congratulations!! You are a rock star!

We watched your scores from home in Colorado. Wish that we could have been there! We remember playing with you in Phoenix and we will always remember what good sportsmanship you have and how you approach the game to have fun! John Marble and mom- Nancy - hope to play with you again soon. Congratulations!

  • Hi, Nancy & John:

Truly glad to hear from you! Thanks for watching Ethan's video. Ethan lost in play-off, but learned a lot of valuable lessons this time. We enjoyed playing with John as well and look forwarding to seeing you guys again. Hope to meet you in Pinehurst this summer!
