I saw Catalin Rotaru last friday playing this elegy with the Guayaquil Symphony Orchestra... it was such a beautiful performance... excellent technique and artistry...

Hi Behjoh,

I remember you! You know it's very difficult to record a double bass. Now the digital sound sometimes destroys the original source. Then too thin strings destroys the original tone. In Rotaru this no happens. It's a difficult question.
