Maybe I'm undiscriminating but I thought he was excellent.
Many good musicians have an inner musical life that they are able to bring out and play for an audience. They are tuned in to themselves, generating rhythms and tones and harmonies that may be idiosyncratic, but still strike a chord in many listeners.
I'm not qualified to say whether his technique can be improved. I suppose most musicians can improve their technique. But I think this guy has the music in him. I liked it.
He obviously doesn't suck, and I can't place my finger on it, but there's just something off. To me he seems really tense/unsure of alot of phrases in this. Just my two cents...
i have had the privledge to play alongside this guy many times and one time i played his song zen shred zone and someone said i didit better than he did!!great guy though.
so this guy seems ok, but he puts to much flair where it isnt need. I mean, its cool in all when he dose those fast arpegieos, but the way he blends it leaves something to desire.
man, way too much bass on his amp.

Bad alternate picking technique. He could sound better without the shredding, with only the more melodical parts.
The guitar tone is terrible...
