Thanks very much! I've been playing for roughly 3-4 years now, I genereally don't read music either, I can read it to a degree, but I find it much easier to pick up a tune by ear, and then if I struggle with anything, I can take a look at the notes.
I think in the past year or so, the ability of my left hand has changed quite considerably, thanks to my last music teacher, which unfortunately I couldn't continue going to. But, thanks to him!
