Granted, this is just a YouTube video. That said, this guitar sounds absolutely fabulous. The depth and yet quick response on the basses is particularly impressive. What a great sounding guitar! Nice work.
WOW! U R FUKIN' RETARDED!! =)) The reason the bass is stronger on the 7 is not just the lower string, but the fact the neck & body R bigger. C'mon man don't U have common sense?! "O I can't use it 'cuz of the capo' bla bla - well get 1 made! =) & hell @ least give it a few months 2 get used 2 the neck - jeez! Did U learn regular guitar in a day? Come on!
Coolest thing is if U played bass fleminco - now THAT would B really unique & interesting!! Get a friggin BASS sometime =D
Great effect when the 7th string comes in. I like it, but I would not wanna play it because... such extras like a 7th string are somehow not fitting on the appearance of a flamenco performance.. Hard to explain. I mean the player would have a different aire only because this guitar is a little "strange"... So the playing would not be in the center of attention for me because I would not be able to play what hes plays coz I have no extra string.. It would be like hes playing another instrument.
Nice video Jason! It's always cool to hear guitars from different makers. It would be fun to have a go of a seven string. I tried a harp guitar once and the extra strings really threw me off. When you play the solea, the guitar sounds like it has a sports exhaust, Nice!!
GREAT! first comment JAJAJA wow i loved that bass string! is it a B? for some rasgueados it seams usefullike the ones on 1:35 because you dont mute the 6th string, but for other ones it may be complicated because you have to modify some chords... but for tarantar or rondeñas were you like to have lots of harmonics sounding it may be GREAT!!!
GREAT TEACHER AND VIRTUOSO!!!!

The extra soundhole or "port" as they are called makes the guitar louder to the player and makes the sound a touch brighter and more vibrant.

tell me please what are those additional holes on the guitar for a how it affects the sound? is it for spreading the sound around the player?
