Lol. And it was, oh it really was. If I recall correctly Harry came on at the end and played New York, New York.

Why is it that when someone compiles a greatest frontman list, Danny Bowes never appears in it? I have only seen this band live twice, and both times he totally captivated the audience, had them shouting and screaming exactly when he wanted them to, and had them eating out of the palm of his hand. One of the great frontmen of all time, Oh, nearly forgot, the band were f*&%£ing fabulous as well!
Saw them as the support act for Heart way back in the 80's. They rocked the whole place down. Felt sorry for Heart having to follow that! Luckily Ann Willson kicked out some serious vocals.
I'll pay any money and I'll fly anywhere to see them live. That's actually the only thing I want to do before I die. Everything else has been done or doesn't really matter.
@olwynshilling - Maaaan, you won't believe it. 10 minutes after I posted this comment I somehow came across High Voltage - 15 min later had a ticket bought, 20 min later flights to London and back booked. THERE IS GOD!:)) I don't need to mention I'm probably the happiest man on the planet:)

This was when they had just released 'Backstreet Symphony'. I got home and lstened to the album. I then FELL IN LOVE with Thunder and still LOVE'em!!!!! Twenty plus years later!!!!

One of my fave bands of all time. I'll never forget the time I managed to get my jacket signed at the Hammy Odeon many years ago. Fantastic band who have always lived long in the memory. Good man Danny. Suberb vocalist and didn't try to BE the usual ROCK vocalist and chose to grow old gracefully! Thunder are the donkey's knob! Best ever. Should have got more recognition in UK and US. We already miss you loads.

@mikemitas Only a one off so far Mike. We all hold our breath in anticipation. Doing a rock festival because they are all free. As for making it as a headline band, I have seen them in some very small venues, almost bordering on clubs. I think they will have another last hurrah but with Luke Morley firmly in the band THE UNION, it could be a while.
