Corgan was really unprepared, redundant, and boring. He also wasn't qualified to speak about Pink Floyd. It seems like he only listened to one or two albums by them on a regular basis.

@wingseclipsed Actually billy grew up in the 70's and has much background on music like Pink Floyd's. If you look at some of his interviews he cites the band as a major influence on his music and his life.
