These problems are not mistakes of circumstance, they are a crisis in economic philosophy...to try to "fix" the problem without admitting the error in economic philosophy is like a heroin junky thinking he won't overdose again if he doesn't shoot up on Tuesdays anymore.
And this woman looks like she died five years ago and is being animated with electric pulses.
Ever ask your self where all the interest paid on mortgages goes and what it's used for?
Considering the bank makes the loan based on fractional lending, basically they pull the money for your mortgage out of thin air. The interest is paid to the Federal Reserves that is a private banking cartel, who then uses the money to finance both sides of foreign wars! The Amero is now in your bank ppl, the dollar is toast. the N.A.U is on your doorstep, wakeup! see: "Money As Debt" yt
I think this lady and paulson are related. Maybe something happens to ones psyche when caught in the middle of this mess. Both would be great characters in a stephen King novel, or a Rod Serling's twilight zone episode.
I totally agree aria6191, her facial expressions would be perfect. How long was she awake and how many mochafrappachinolattes did she have before this interview ?

And yet I've yet to hear anyone talk about consumers taking personal responsibility. The ingrained American attitude: I WANT IT ALL AND I WANT IT NOW....even if I can't afford it.
Buying houses they can't afford, having kids they can't support, buying 2 to 3 gas guzzling cars they don't take care of, buying cheap Chinese made crap instead of buying more expensive but durable and overall more valuable products etc
Americans will never learn, and once more, I don't think they want to.

You can't get logic into a sheep's head when it is simply following the herd. It doesn't work in 99% of cases because the sheep is self-delusional. They are never to blame for their own conundrum; it's always the other guy. Sad and predictable.

The congressional bailout is a sham. The basic problem is that the USA consumes more from overseas than it exports. High energy prices, a declining dollar, higher unemploymet, people not being able to pay debts are all symptoms of this basic problem.
What we've got to do is REINDUSTRIALIZE and start making goods and services thw world wants to buy. The fastest way to do this is to get out of bad trade agreements, protect patents from theft, and start puttinga value added tax on imports.
I smell the end of free-market capitalism in the USA--but the New Order will protect the NYC financial elite. You could argue that this entire "crisis" was pre-engineered, except that the pigs who run the USA aren't smart enough to do that---instead of carefully planning and forseeing consequences, they tend to blunder: Katrina, Iraq, Afghan, dereg, budget fiasco, skyrocketing debt, ruined relations with Russia, deals cut w/ corrupt regimes, hopeless corruption in defense contracting, etc.
You folks in DC, I tell ya what - We the people aren't nearly as stupid as you are corrupt!
GET OFF your high horses, close your pockets to special interest groups and ACT now to stop the oncoming out of control socialist agenda that's been coming down the pike for decades!
This whole mess started way long ago...I'm sincere, in spite of the hate you spew...you're angry...who isn't?
I am...the problem goes beyond what we're all brainwashed to believe.
If you find out a little about Norman Dodd, maybe, just maybe, if you're sincere and not here to inflame and perpetuate the racial divide, you'll learn what I learned
LovelessLulz...you're wrong...I'm neither peaceful nor optimistic...it's just not as simple as what you're saying...I'm filled with so much rage, I've thought about suicide, so don't be too quick to judge.
Your solution to this massive, greed problem "blame it on the "nigs" comment if your feeling, so i'll leave it alone...i wish it were that easy to fix

according to lou dobbs last nite the bailout is already topping 5 trillion...
so how did 300billion in bad mortgages turn into the 5 trillion
according to some economists the mortgage thing was only an 85 billion dollar problem
someone somewhere is lying
there had to be MORE than a bad mortgage problem

Hello AP...
as usual no NEWS here!
I've got a question:
WHO threatened congress members w/Martial Law if they refused to pass the bailout legislation?
According to Representative Sherman, "some" were threatened. If this is true, we MUST know who made the threat.
TIME FOR SOME CONGRESS MEMBERS TO COME FORWARD!
Fear Mongering exposed by Mr. Sherman on CSPAN
