Considering the bank makes the loan based on fractional lending, basically they pull the money for your mortgage out of thin air. The interest is paid to the Federal Reserves that is a private banking cartel, who then uses the money to finance both sides of foreign wars! Buying houses they can't afford, having kids they can't support, buying 2 to 3 gas guzzling cars they don't take care of, buying cheap Chinese made crap instead of buying more expensive but durable and overall more valuable products etc

Americans will never learn, and once more, I don't think they want to.

The congressional bailout is a sham.The basic problem is that the USA consumes more from overseas than it exports. High energy prices, a declining dollar, higher unemploymet,people not being able to pay debts are all symptoms of this basic problem.

What we've got to do is REINDUSTRIALIZE and start making goods and services thw world wants to buy. The fastest way to do this is to get out of bad trade agreements, protect patents from theft,and start puttinga value added tax on imports.

You could argue that this entire "crisis" was pre-engineered, except that the pigs who run the USA aren't smart enough to do that---instead of carefully planning and forseeing consequences, they tend to blunder: Katrina, Iraq, Afghan, dereg, budget fiasco, skyrocketing debt, ruined relations with Russia, deals cut w/ corrupt regimes, hopeless corruption in defense contracting, etc.
