I have a question. If you allow the water to sit in a plastic container in direct sunlight for a long period of time, don't you run the risk of the plastic itself releasing chemicals?
That was very interesting. I've heard of people using sunlight to disinfect water, but I'd never heard any details. I had wondered how long (give or take) a bottle of water should be left in the sun before it is likely to be free of bacterial contamination. Your video gives a good idea.
