Awesome music choice. That Lightning combo at 4:20 was rad, also. Good BRV damage.

Quick question: why do you prefer the Assist --> Blasting Zone combo over Revolver Drive? Doesn't Revolver Drive do more BRV damage before the hit?

Keep practicing and never feel abashed. Kouryu is the only player I know who does it perfectly; understand that he never performs a whiffed guard out of mistake.

It's quite the same thing as Sephiroth's M-Cancel in Dissidia (1). You have to tap R then immediately follow with a dash (R+/\).

That and Double assist combos are the only advanced techniques of Duodecim so far.

Practice, again and again.

It's extremely rewarding, not only for Squall but for other characters too, especially those who don't have safe pokes to build the assist gauge easily like Cloud of Darkness.
