everybody how is talking about the lower limb tillering, you need to take into account the angle of the camera makes it look off...The release is beautiful. except for the large handle, nice looking bow
Hello, I'm kinda going to start making my first longbow and cant get the answer for one question, how dry must be the wood material? or it doesn't matter?
and are there any synthetic glues good for laminating?
A moisture content between 7-12% is great. Any lower, and you risk breaking it. Any higher, and it will take a set (depending on how much higher) when you tiller it.
iam using a 6 foot elm stave, how will u glue the skin to the to bow, with sinew glue?the ancient ainu people.used yew,and sinew.the yumi bows are too much work and mataince.

Nice shooting!! Beautiful bow, a real work of art. It was a pleasure to see the arrows snap out from the bow so crisply. Really excellent.

bad tiller on lower limb!!!

bad tiller ,lower limb is bending more than upper limb ,bow should be at least up side down- but anyway it is bad TILLER!!!!

@stanjanoch A bow at full draw is what matters-not standing tiller and camera angle comes into account too
