It's been a while since I listened to an act and couldn't tell whether it was a gag or they were being serious. Sleeping bag gave that feeling in about 10 seconds with this live performance of the track Anthony reviewed (watch?v=L6ioJsitTV8). It's REALLY uncomfortable how peppy bass and guitar play over the drummer's near-coma vocals. Pass.

It's great that you review different genres of music however, been lacking a lot of the Rock & Metal department for a very long time. I personally love how you review a lot of Metal albums, dissecting them down to every detail.

Instruments, production, lyrical themes, etc.. you are VERY good at that. Love to see some reviews of Metal music. I think a LOT of us are waiting for that, actually.

You should've started with Pilot Talk 1, that was a masterpiece in terms of flows metaphors/similies, hooks, production. I wouldn't have chose weekend at burnies as my first Curren$y LP because it was only decent, don't cast him aside based on this project because his previous material is better in fact you should listen to Pilot Talk 3 when it's released later this year, because I know it'll be awesome.

True, though I would also recommend Covert Coup for someone who thinks Curren$y is a one trick pony. Different production really brings out the other side of Spitta. But, yeah, Pilot Talk 1 was a remarkable album. WaB's is a great album, too, but it feels more in the vein of This Is Not A Mixtape in terms of feel and production. Which certainly isn't a bad thing, but I can see how that might turn off some people used to more esoteric hiphop.
