ahh, I remember in Ace combat 5, in the whole arcade mode operation katina with mobius 1 when they said they compared Mob's fighting capabilities and he is equal to that of an entire ISAF fighter squadron. I thought "You got THAT right!"

I've played AC4, 5 and Zero. Among the three, AC4 got better graphics, the fighter jets feels more distinct from one another with the control stick, and the Yellow Squadron is incomparable to any of the squadrons fought in AC5 and Zero!

I think that Ace Combat 4 will was the best. It had a good story, great missions, and a fantastic soundtrack. 4 was my first AC and now I love the series.

i love the ACE COMBAT games, i'm an ace video game pilot, i've been flying flight sims and fighter games for 12 years, i'm none by my friends and family as SchizoFlyer b/c i fly like a mad man, but i get the job done.

mobius is no doubt the best pilot in the whole series

think about it, all other pilots fought in a squad of 2 or 4 while mobius fought by himself, he matches the strike power of an elite squadron.

...id rather see cipher go down in flames than mobius...

Well later games DO love to call out about the 'Red Ribbion' Fighter, what is clearly just shout-outs to mobius, then again IMO your skill in 2 I think far outweighs any other AC's by FAR just because that turns into a 1~2 man ARMY...no other squads, no ALLY's other then escorts, and a ton of bogis to take out single handed.

Ahh, I'm still waiting to see how AC7 shapes up thought after the iffy 6 on the 360. It's really lost it's spark after 5/Zero.

@lipucd I did enjoy Ace Combat 4, it's what attracted me to the series in the first place, but I have to admit that 5's story drew me in more than 4...still, in a match between Blaze and Mobius 1, my money is on Mobius 1, but I think it'd be a close match as both pilots are badass...

If you go to a mission and pick an aircraft but dont pick a weapon then keep pressing triangle until you go nowhere (back to the Start menu) and wait, the aircraft you picked will be in the intro. Usually you have to watch a replay vid before the main intro starts. Very cool to watch the X-02 or EF-2000 in this intro.

Sad to say when I moved to my new location my PS2 kicked the can...it was one of the launch models though so it was about that time it seemed...

Once I get a new one ( or I can get someone else's for a few hours ) I'll try it and do an upload if it works ( along with the request I have sitting on the burner ).
