BLK-do you not deny the fact that South Africa is worse off since Apartheid ended? I don't support Apartheid, but you can't deny that South Africa was a better run country-even poor blacks in the townships could depend on water, electrical, and basic services. Look at how rich Arafat was-he stole from his own people. If the Arabs really cared about the Palestinians, they'd invite them to live as free men in other Arab Nations, but they don't-it's easier to blame the jews then to take action.

Israel is a democracy, the kind the US was about 50 years ago, when certain citizens were denied basic rights. Thanks to demonstrations such as those led by Martin Luther King, the unimaginable happened. Although prejudice has not been totally eradicated, we now have a person whose father is a black African in the race for president. And African-Americans can drink from the same fountains and actually sit in the front of the bus! Long live the Palestinians. Wait and see, they shall be free.

I had the privilege of attending this excellent protest and it was truly a memorable experience, the presence of some truly obnoxious counterprotesters notwithstanding. It will go down in history as a day to remember.
