  • one of the most stylish payers some of them passes are insane no one has ever attempted that shit since ive followed the nba in the last few years what a bad man

  • what??????????? annoying rap music? @hnguyen218 u cant be serious! thats so good rap, man, brilliant video, the sounds so fresh, basketball would be so totally differennt without hip-hop, turn the sound off, if you dont like it, and listen to other stuff, and yes, penny is the shit! Brilliant player!

  • @mozurial1510 JUST PLAIN GHETTO CRAP !

  • why do all basketball mixes have to have annoying rap music? I think instrumentals work best but that's imo. Anyways, Penny was da shit back in the days..

  • fucking injuries

  • Who wants penny hardaway on NBA 2k12

  • @CheddaWiz He' in.

  • @CheddaWiz he is on 2k12. you have to play the patrick ewing game to unlock 94-95 magic

  • @CheddaWiz he is

  • @CheddaWiz he is there...

  • penny was my fav player growing up

  • I wish he would of stayed healthy. First ballot hall of famer if he did.

  • name of the song?

  • @taylordize clown lol, a point forward is just what you call a player who's big enough to play a forward position but also skilled enough with the ball to be able to bring it downcourt and orchestrate an offense. lamar odom, scottie pippen, penny hardaway. obviously its not a "real" position

  • @kd1zzz obviously... i mean if you put point and forward together yeah its easy to see where you get that name. its not the official Iname of what you call it though. That's all I was saying. Point forward sounds silly anyway. I bet I've played more competitive basketball than you so... ya hahah

  • @taylordize so you played AAU ball and that means your opinion is golden? i played AAU ball as well buddy and two of my former teammates are now playing for D-1 schools on scholarship. "yay haha i win!!" sound familiar? you see how gay you are acting? i played competitive and high school ball too, but i don't boast and act like i'm better than the next guy. and your not funny so stop laughing with the haha shit. also it seems you are rubbing multiple people the wrong way with your opinions

  • @TheMadeMan89 you said "yay haha I win!!" its funny you put that in quotations as I didn't say those words...you did. I didn't even write that so stop putting words in my mouth. I never said I was better than that person, I was just saying where I'm coming from i.e. the experience I have in basketball... to show that I have credibility. Its called backing up what you know. now please stop twisting my words and get off my nuts.

  • @taylordize i was mocking you as if your a child, not quoting you word for word. and there are loads of people with a more credible knowledge of basketball than you or me. so your either showing what little you know, or whatever you were trying to say came off all wrong

  • "mate" , "point forward"? You're probably not even american. I'm arguing with a foreigner about basketball hahahahahhahahahha now i know for sure I'm arguing with a moron.

  • @taylordize Dude, you’re a fucking idiot. To call someone a foreigner and laugh at them saying they know nothing about basketball, all because you don't know what a 'point forward' is, I can't believe the ignorance. Did you start playing basketball last month kid? Saying a point forward doesn't exist is like saying a combo guard or swingman doesn't exist. They may not be official, but they are well known in basketball circles, showing you know nothing about basketball!

  • @Hoggie295 i know what he meant by a point forward. I've just never heard it called that before that's why I laughed.... geez don't get your panties in a wad. And I bet I'm better at basketball than you buddy.

  • @taylordize Haha, bring it chump

  • @Hoggie295 lol

  • @Hoggie295 I play AAU tournament ball man in my team's championship game I had 35 points including clutch free throws down the stretch in the last minute of the game. I think I know basketball.

  • この人に憧れてバスケを始めたなぁ

  • old times, good times...

    nba on its best...

  • What's up with some of the Grant Hill clips? Thought this was Penny Hardaway's mix?

  • He was my favourite player after MJ 1st retirement, he was great in 95. Such a shame we only saw like 2 years of his prime.. Also he would be even better with todays rules..

  • the first song is ???????

  • old upload, but NIIIIICE!!

I LOVED that season they went to the finals, what a fun ride. Then WHIPPED.....SWEPT.

  • Man, injuries are a biotch.

  • @peboguxX shame all their injuries happened when they were at orlando

  • 1:23...penny is so smooth that he's got white ppl doin the carlton

  • this man is a smooth criminal, this is whn the nba was filled with street ballin ankle breakin smootherific point guards but now there all gone nd the nba is filled with the most athletic beasts u hav ever seen

  • 0:33-0:34... SLAM magazine cover #8

  • its amazing and sad how n injury can rob you of your talent. He was destined for the Hall of Fame.

  • its amazing and sad how n injury can rob you of your talent. He was destined for the Hall of Fame.

  • @billslover90 do you do drugs or just blind. You know what I wont disrespect the blind. You just lack common sense. Kyrie Irving played 11 games and you dare compare him to penny. Smh @ u

  • we just got a new answer for penny hardaway...its kyrie irving

  • one steve nash that can fly.....that's Penny

  • 0:41 and 1:04 was sick

  • Glad to see him play live in 96'. Guy played with much heart.

  • they need to retire his #1 jersey.

  • @MrIamabitch They are not going to retired his jersey dumbass. He had three good seasons and that was it. He went to 4 all star games.

  • penny was tha nex best thing.....betta than kobe & lebrick..i mean lebron in my opinon

  • i hate when they compare penny with magic penny and magic didint have the same style of game penny was more defence and scoring focused magic was more multi rebounding position triple double type point guard bt they both do heck of plays both are tall point guards.

  • i met penny at lifetime in memphis he was real cool and he's still a beast

  • @zack4rap did you managed to see him play at the age of 40?

  • @MrIamabitch what? he didnt really score alot he just got rebounds and assist

  • @zack4rap i bet he could dunk still and was he fast still.

  • @zack4rap he was a 20 plus scorer until he got hurt

  • Could have been the next Magic Johnson

  • Comment removed

  • great passer

  • what was his injury

  • @amjbeatz injured both his knees

  • Could have been equal to MJ.

  • @HikoSeijuroXIII get out right now

  • Wow, people still use that line?

  • penny and grant hill, two sad stories. gotta remember them for the talent they had, not the injuries

  • Penny would own Lebron!!

  • t-mac is better than him . but i love him

  • @st901800 ha when is the last time TMAC even passed the ball let alone be a point gaurd like penny.

penny was an all purpose point gaurd. tmac is just bombs away.

  • He would have been a 28ppg 8apg player in his prime if it wasn't for injurys

  • Comment removed

  • 0:44 is the sweetest pass i've ever seen..and i been watchin ball awhile.

  • I can see how Penny influenced Lebron in this video. Penny looked to pass as much or even more than he looked to score. And he passed very well.

  • No wonder TMac chose that number.. AND that team :)

  • I think penny is the NBA's most tragic example of failed expectations. Injuries can change a career, even a young one.

  • @klined Having that number in that team is a curse.

  • penny top 5 pointguards in the NBA before fucking injuries!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 40% jordan jerseys,25% hardaway,25% o'neal,10% bird when i waz in high school.

    East Coast 4 life nigga.

  • WHats the second SONG?!??

  • Penny was a master of the Playoffs. He's one of the few players that does better in the playoffs than the regular season.

  • Oh man the 90's were the shit!!

  • i was short dead short thanks to "Helpo Growth Formula "

    im now tall

  • Penny is responsible for some of the coolest kicks ever made

  • Music sucks but goddamn Penny was a Bad. Man.

  • Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill and Steve Francis are 3 guys that were kings in the early years of their career and than, due to injuries, became role/bench players. Sad stories.

  • @peboguxX McGrady to :(

  • @peboguxX add Brandon Roy and Tracy McGrady to that list

  • @peboguxX same with T-Mac

  • @peboguxX What about Tracy Mcgrady? The funny thing is all of them are former Orlando players.

  • @peboguxX and Kenny Anderson

  • @peboguxX dont forget tmac

  • @peboguxX don't forget tracy mcgrady

  • one of my fave players from back in the day and he had the potential to be second to jordan had the injuries not fucked him over. i think he wouldve been ok if shaq didn't do the dirty and bail on orlando. i've been a magic fan since those days and i really think we could have had a dynasty if it wasn't for shaq bailing and and penny getting injured due to him having to carry the team on his back.

  • Penny one & only...

give me name of this song.. RESPECT FOR PENNY AND FOR LORD JAY VIDEOS

  • at :44 thats just sick!! lol

  • at :44 thats just sick!! lol

  • extra naman si grant hill

  • This should be renamed:"Two GOATS if it was''nt for injuries". Both made us tear up the courts back then...

  • grant hill, wat is he doin in this vid ?

  • his passes were on point.

  • Welcome back

  • I had to show the youngsters Penny. He was tmac, lebron & some of kobe rolled into 1 player. He constantly put the best defender in the league(pippen) on his highlight reel. Injuries, then the strike had a huge effect in his game decline. I also have several old magic games on vhs. Those vs the Knicks were classic.

Penny's court vision was on the level of Magic, Bird, Kidd, Lebron. He had a 3pt shoot. He didn't lock up guys like jordan or kobe tho, but was an good defender.

  • Watching this reminds me of the mad court vision this dude had. That's why he was my favorite player growing up. The crazy shit is that he didn't even reach his full potential because of the injuries he had to endure. Imagine an injury free Penny at 28-32 years old. That would rival Kobe's best years.

  • John wall will be the next Penny Hardaway

  • @KIngSerg5 hell no different type of players

  • @KIngSerg5

Yeah John Wall reminds me of a more athletic Kenny Anderson. Penny is on another level, and was coming out of college.

  • Old School Bball in perfection, gotta like guys like penny hardaway!

  • lol the last part Shaq was like "WTF ! IM SUPPOSE TO BE THE ONE DUNKING!"

  • your DREAM TEAM from the 90's ?

    This is mine

    PG: Penny

    SG: Jordan

    SF: Pippen

    PF: Barkley

    C: David Robinson/Hakeem

  • @saigalrahoul

    david robinson or hakeem?????

you kidding, hakeem proved you wrong, no words needed

  • @saigalrahoul

I would have to throw Derrick Coleman in at the PF. Robinson was the truth, but Hakeem got the best of him in that series. I think the admiral had better numbers thru a career tho.

I tell ya what, you can't go wrong with either player. You could argue Shaq in at the C as well.

  • Coulda been better than Kobe

  • @taylordize Was better than Kobe you fucking jigaboo

  • @omegzilla1 I wouldn't say he's better than kobe. Kobe has had sustained success over a much longer period of time. What I meant by my comment is if penny woulda stayed healthy he had the potential to be better than kobe.

  • @taylordize can't compare Penny with Kobe. They're in different classes of players. Penny is more of Magic than Kobe.

  • @hmwillow why not? how are they "in different classes of players"? penny and kobe play the same style of ball. Same height, similar skill set, both can pass, drive, dunk, shoot. Your comment makes no sense and lacks reasoning.

  • @taylordize are you an idiot? Kobe's a pure scorer, he's in the class of Jordan, Wade, etc. Penny's a point-forward, in the class of Magic, Big O, LeBron, etc. Have you even watched Penny play during his Magic days? I don't think so, you weren't even probably following the NBA, let alone watch it when you were 6 years old.

  • @hmwillow

You don't know much about basketball do you? First, there's no such thing as a "point-forward". Penny was a small forward. Kobe is 6' 6" and Penny was 6' 7". They both can play the 1,2,3 positions .

Second, having Wade higher than Magic is retarded. Wade still has a long career ahead so gtfo of here with that shit LOL

    Third, I didn't say penny was in kobe's class. I said he coulda been better than kobe;

The idiot is in your mirror buddy

  • @taylordize No such thing as "Point-Forward" hahahahahah conversation ends right here. I'm debating with an idiot. hahahahahahah cya mate. hahahahahahahahaha go watch slamball hahahahahahahahah

  • @hmwillow LMAO a point forward.... really? There's point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, center. Its not called point forward. Its called small forward not point forward dumbass hahahahahahahha POINT FORWARD. That's hilarious

  • @taylordize Huh... point-forward does exist.... Not as an official position, but it has been used to describe forwards with better ball handling and court vision and who create plays for their team. Scottie Pippen and Lebron James are the better known players to have played (unofficially) this position, and there have recently been others like T-Mac, Grant Hill, Hedo or Iguodala. I find it strange that someone that follows basketball would laugh and not know this.

  • @Whispererinthenoise that makes sense. its unofficial, that's why I've never heard of it.

  • what's slamball?

  • @taylordize ...

  • @hmwillow but the knee...

  • Skomentuj ten film... And Grant and his ankle - I gotta say they were (and they always will be) my favourite nba players all the time. But Penny was better.

  • Pls tell me the Name of the Song and Artist;-)

    Appreciate that..

  • seems like everyplayer to wear #1 for the magic become the best in the game for a while and then slowly their skill declines and they face issues with injuries etc.

    wierd how that happens

  • Hate Hate Hate!!

  • 666

  • pass at 0:42 is epic

  • Damn Penny Hardaway was one of the best... I truly miss him and the magic of the early 90's.

  • Penny Hardaway reminds me of Tracy Mcgrady of right now. Both of them could have been the best in the business if it weren't for injuries. It would have been fun to see Penny vs. Michael or Kobe vs. Tracy type of rivalries. But I guess we can't, it's funny how TMac and Penny both ended up on the Knicks and maybe TMac could finish his career off with the Heat like Penny because his contract expires after this year. Who knows?

  • Jordan was the best but Penny changed modern NBA ..

  • @iceing13 how in the hell did penny change the nba?

  • Great video by the way.

  • For all the Penny and Jordan comparisons...let's end that, please. No disrespect to Jordan, I acknowledge he is the best the NBA has seen so far. The way I look at it, Jordan was a great player who had a hell of a lot of raw talent and athleticism. But the reason why I love Penny and the reason why he is my basketball role model is because he is the most fundamentally sound, skilled player I have ever seen. If I could be like either player, i wouldn't even hesitate to say it'd be Penny.

  • BE LIKE MIKE

  • shit good ass video, I forgot how killer penny was...and got us all with the G Hill highlights, haha but respect I fogot how killer he was too.

  • It was Penny Hardaway & Grant Hill Mix

  • 4.22 killa move...loved it..

  • why was grant hill on a penny hardaway video

  • my fav player..inspired me to play basketball
