I ran into this about a year and a half ago. It inspired me to try the same thing with some other dd's. Now all this time later i've finally completed a dd5. My technique and knowledge of these things has come a long way since my first steps into modding stuff. Cheers for the inspiration.

mainly cause i get bored with 4/4 rhythm structures but also because that's the most you can do with a 4017 chip, and also it's all i had room for!

You could create a row for the reset input to change the step count if you wanted...
