Pretty awesome for only playing a year, I'm a sophomore now, been playing tenors for 2 years and I can barley pull off this lick, my advice is to keep your shoulders still and make sure you keep a firm grip while playing diddles, also, when you turn your body, it messes up your whole frame of reference, so if possible, try playing on a drum while wearing it, but other than that, awesome job! :D
@padmadness Thanks for the advice this video is really old though lol ive already marched drum corps, check out Teal Sound 2011 im the tenor player on the end lol
@Basebuster cool, im pretty local to teal sound, but i dont remmeber if there a part of PAC or not, i marched in an indoor group inside of PAC last year, and probably will be this year

Watch shoulder turning and shifting of body weight when you go to the outer drums but other than that sounds good.

you played this really well for only being a tenor for a year. :D
my only compliant is that stick tick at the end. and i saw minor wrist turn. but easily fixed with proper practice!
