The pets I was raised with and have now are all rescue pets. I'll be sure to spread this video.

Actually, I'm Wade, Rebecca's boyfriend. She got to grow up with Karma that we found on the side of an old country road close to where I grew up. they were the cutest when they were pups. Kenna took many naps with me as we "watched" football on Sunday's. I remember seeing her pic on the e-mail and calling Bec to go, ok, bring her on. She does that to me all the time. I get the sad picture and she knows I'll crumble.

Jenny I have a connection to little Miss Kenna. My girlfriend and I have rescued countless animals. I should say Bec does the rescuing and asks me if it's ok as we have a house full of animals. I got an e-mail with the very pic in this video of Kenna in the kennel. The mobilization of assistance for one little girl was amazing and inspiring. Kenna got to grow up at our house. The after pic of her is in our yard. She is truly a wonderful animal and a delight to have with until she got a home

Is this Rebecca? I also have photos from you of Kenna playing in the lake with another dog. Thanks so much for taking such great care of her. It's neat to see how her ears came up and her whole expression changed after she was saved and went to stay with you. :-)

Very beautiful. . . thanks for the tearjerker. . . Just watching the first few moments of this, I thought to myself, what is this mysterious, amazing, force that humans feel. . . called love? So. .. powerful film and story. For all the evil that exists, I once read an analysis of how humans are unparalleled in their altruism among all animals. You represent the best of that.

Thank you. I met some of the most amazing people doing amazing and very difficult work after Katrina. We became networked across the country and continue to try to bring hope to animals in need. I learned a lot from Kate and still wish that I could find anyone who knew her before Katrina to let them know what that she was rescued and loved and cared for after the storm.
