Hey I am seriously thinking about getting a ipod touch ( 8 gig) but I have a couple of questions to ask. The first question is about the internet that it comes with. Is it free or am I going to have to pay a fee every month for it. Also you said that you have to have a wireless router to be connected to the internet. What exactly is that. And how do you download apps, music, and videos. I know you hav to use itunes but do I have to download the program to my computer and synch it or not.

it totally is. i did the same upgrade, except mine was through a warrenty exchange. i have only ever bought one iPod. i originally bought my first iPod when the 6gb mini came out and i bought a warrenty with it. when that broke, they didn't make the mini anymore, so they gave me a 30 gb video for free. then that broke about a month ago, used the warrenty from that to get the 16gb touch. i was worried about the size difference as well, but i went through my itunes and cut out 10 gb no problem

btw u dont have to suffer w/o games on ur touch. jailbreak it, which is VERY easy, just first find your firmware and the right tutorial video, and you can add things from an aim program to tap tap revolution (guitar hero). there are many videos on how to do it, and the sources. just know that your warranty becomes void once you do so, so if you do this, try not to break ur ipod touch =P
