You should bring the CBR 150R And 125R models to america! They are both great starter bikes, and they are both considered mopeds here. Which means 15 and 16 year olds can ride a real sport bike that has real sport bike power, gears, and rpm, instead of some ugly CVT mopeds.

I also have a superglide right now and ive owned magna.goldwing,electraglide,nightrod,fatboy,road king, gs1100, gpz1100, and many more in my life (im 43). anyway my opinion is the price is good, its extreme for a honda but not extreme enuff, the shaft drive is ugly even tho its superior in quality than a chain or belt. honda is reliable but they could have done a better job here with looks. people also say it lacks torque. 13 grand aint bad tho.
if you own this bike you should check out LOWANDMEAN's website they have the best aftermarket air systems, speedometer faces, front and rear fenders and lights, and the only lowering kit on the market check it out.

vtx's are all too heavy. I rode a vtx 1300 and had to wrestle the steering, Hope the fury is not badly balanced. Also, I agree with the comment about shoddy build quality. Plastic fenders etc. I have loved my previous Honda's but the current line is under engineered, too heavy.. Sorry for the bad review.
looks good in person, but $3000 more than the vtx1300, i don't know if resale will remain higher. the passenger would much rather be sitting on the vtx, i can tell you that. for bike to have that look it should weigh less, i think 50 pounds at least. 1400 intruder was 535 pounds so i figure that this could have been down under 600 pounds dry weight. anything more wild than the fury, isn't much fun to ride in town. i think honda pushed the styling to the max for comfort, it is rideable.

I really like the looks of this bike. Honda did a great job at a great price. I have owned Harley's and Hondas in the past but ride a Yamaha V Star Classic ('02) right now. I think it is the best all around cruiser for the money. I do like the Harley Fat Boy, but I think they are way over-priced. I am seriously thinking of getting the Honda Fury within the next 6 to 12 months. No financing, cash only. I need to test ride this bike first.
I do own Harleys, im only 31 years old, and i have owned them all. One of my Harleys currently has 66K on it, never had anything done but had the oil changed and tires changed. None of them have ever had a leak. It has nothing to do with it being a honda. I've had plenty of Hondas. I had a very nice Yamaha, one old suzuki and a 650 Kaw a while back. But this thing is an abortion. The pictures look good, but in real life... puke. I went and looked at them at the dealer. Terribly thrown together.

Have you actually seen one on the show room floor? Go look at it. Look at the welds. Stand back and look at the whole thing, not just one piece at a time. things dont flow right. I've had my FXD for 6 years, have over 37,000 trouble free miles, and it has power enough with the mid range torque to get around most anything. If you get hate over your comments it's because you made some real negative statements that I for one know aren't true. Why don't you just say what you like, and know about whatever bike you ride? 55,000 on a 1985 GSXR 750 before bursting a bearing....11,000rpm rev limiter complaining, hard miles from the racetrack to aggresive street with 50+ 200kph+ runs through full tanks of gas stopping only to refill and go 200kph+ for another hour.

I test rode a few Buels in 1998 returning with purple brake rotors.
I'm not endorsing the behaviour but accept no excuses if a bike can't handle it.
My personal experience tells me you are wrong saying a Harley can't handle it. Like I said 6 years on this bike 37,000 plus miles and going strong, with no problems. Harley's have changed a good deal in the last 10 or so years. But I do concede to your point, Honda's are less a duty to maintain.

I don't this bike, I never really like coppers with the whole frame, tank and fenders matching one color and that damn empty space that left above the engine when the neck was raised for the rake. but the fury further makes it self less appealing with the drive shaft and ugly rims. I would prefer a nice muscular cruiser or a large displacement sports bike like the hayabusa and zx14r

vtx's are all too heavy. I rode a vtx 1300 and had to wrestle the steering, Hope the fury is not badly balanced. Also, I agree with the comment about shoddy build quality. Plastic fenders etc. I have loved my previous Honda's but the current line is under engineered, too heavy.. Sorry for the bad review.

looks good in person, but $3000 more than the vtx1300, i don't know if resale will remain higher. the passenger would much rather be sitting on the vtx, i can tell you that. for bike to have that look it should weigh less, i think 50 pounds at least. 1400 intruder was 535 pounds so i figure that this could have been down under 600 pounds dry weight. anything more wild than the fury, isn't much fun to ride in town. i think honda pushed the styling to the max for comfort, it is rideable.

I really like the looks of this bike. Honda did a great job at a great price. I have owned Harley's and Hondas in the past but ride a Yamaha V Star Classic ('02) right now. I think it is the best all around cruiser for the money. I do like the Harley Fat Boy, but I think they are way over-priced. I am seriously thinking of getting the Honda Fury within the next 6 to 12 months. No financing, cash only. I need to test ride this bike first.

I do own Harleys, im only 31 years old, and i have owned them all. One of my Harleys currently has 66K on it, never had anything done but had the oil changed and tires changed. None of them have ever had a leak. It has nothing to do with it being a honda. I've had plenty of Hondas. I had a very nice Yamaha, one old suzuki and a 650 Kaw a while back. But this thing is an abortion. The pictures look good, but in real life... puke. I went and looked at them at the dealer. Terribly thrown together.

Have you actually seen one on the show room floor? Go look at it. Look at the welds. Stand back and look at the whole thing, not just one piece at a time. things dont flow right. The rear looks like a giant scooter. The seat height is at least 6" too high for this to be a "chopper". It just doenst look right. Im not bias on brands either, but Honda is doing a good job of tricking people on this one.

I've had my FXD for 6 years, have over 37,000 trouble free miles, and it has power enough with the mid range torque to get around most anything. If you get hate over your comments it's because you made some real negative statements that I for one know aren't true. Why don't you just say what you like, and know about whatever bike you ride? 55,000 on a 1985 GSXR 750 before bursting a bearing....11,000rpm rev limiter complaining, hard miles from the racetrack to aggresive street with 50+ 200kph+ runs through full tanks of gas stopping only to refill and go 200kph+ for another hour.
that was 25 years ago, I've had 10 bikes since with no troubles.
I test rode a few Buels in 1998 returning with purple brake rotors.
I'm not endorsing the behaviour but accept no excuses if a bike can't handle it.
Harley's still can't.

My personal experience tells me you are wrong saying a Harley can't handle it. Like I said 6 years on this bike 37,000 plus miles and going strong, with no problems. Harley's have changed a good deal in the last 10 or so years. But I do concede to your point, Honda's are less a duty to maintain.

I ride rain, freezing temps, nights, windy, anything. I ride everyday in any condition and I love it. IMO that makes me an avid rider. Currently I'm riding a Harley sportster, so that makes me an avid HARLEY rider. If I was riding a Suzuki, I'd be an avid Suzuki rider. I don't this bike, I never really like coppers with the whole frame, tank and fenders matching one color and that damn empty space that left above the engine when the neck was raised for the rake. but the fury further makes it self less appealing with the drive shaft and ugly rims. I would prefer a nice muscular cruiser or a large displacement sports bike like the hayabusa and zx14r

The EVO, which was their best motor was designed by kawasaki. And not to mention, half the parts come from over seas. They are beautiful, but maintenance nightmares.
