Can I ask you a question ? I'm quite new at this game and while I was playing I collected several Magic item. Is there a way beside to use the identification spell or scroll to identificate my item? Thanks anyway!

@TheAlpha911 If you go to most stores, there is an identify tab and you can pay them to identify items for you.

Try switching off the "Software blt" options in the graphics settings.

@OscarHult try playing it in 16 bit. also go into options and change AI updates to 42 to speed up gameplay a bit.

I have windows 7 home premium 64 bit and the game works fine for me. On the other hand the baldurs gate games have screwed up immages of certain things (quarterstaffs show up as a big black box in your hand).
