  • Keep following those trends.

  • for those of you complaining that this song is messy and unstructured, if you would allow yourself 5 minutes to actually sit and listen to the message of this song, you would realise it is intentional. And for those of you that are too lazy, its about the mess that the governments are in over the feud of fossil fuels, how quickly they are burning out and we take them for granted, and the conflicts that would ensue when the fuels have finally started running lpw and every country wants a piece.

  • I should watch teh news moar often!

  • /watch?v=12x87jtmcwI

listen to this song, it is real music

  • @DeadxTeam Not a bad song, but i'm guessing you don't like Shikari, in which case is fair enough but i am forcible inclined to tell you that you rim hippo's.

  • @RICKYSMITH96 it is an awesome song that i posted but its definitely not one of my favourites, i just posted that particular song coz i only just heard it recently and thought it was awesome :) and no i dont like enter shikari at all but i did give them a chance, and im not saying that they are not good, its just not my type of music (and im not even gonna bother commenting on that last part of your comment)

  • @DeadxTeam What the hell did you make me watch? It felt like I was rick rolled.

Enter Shikari > Whatever the hell you just posted.

  • @Parkway90x hahahahahahahahaha i didnt make you watch anything, i was just posting random song from a massively different genre that not many people listen to just to expand your music choice a little bit

  • @DeadxTeam Lol I do like heavier music than Enter Shikari, but not that genre XD

  • I love this song, But i wish 2:45 would hit harder.

  • I wish news were like this everyday.

  • will you please enter the shikari farrari

  • 1:25 u know I like that.. that dubstep influenced post hardcore.. oh yeah

  • I guess the reason people don't like this is the sort of 'genre-switching' between the screamo/dubstep infused section and the more indie-rock stuff. I guess the ideas in both sections could be 2 songs entirely but i kinda like it...

  • their drummer trips me out hahahahahaha

  • @captainlaurlaur he just has fun xD

  • mean az song!!!!!!!!!

    gtfo this shit fagz

  • rou is deffinatly the coolest person i have ever seen in my life.

  • hate if you want but thats just immature if yous keep complaining, let people have their own opinion and free speech

  • @poetictragedy091 They've been doing this now for nearly 10 years, and it's gotten them this famous. Do you think you can get as famous and well known as Shikari has? I'd love to see you try mate. That's their sound, they haven't changed it since they started, they've just grown up and enhanced it.

  • @BetweenTheBuriedAndI its not just enhanced. you think im a complete idiot? they've changed period.

  • @poetictragedy091 they've not "changed period". half the album ideas were created before/during the TTTS/Common Dreads era. They have EVOLVED.

  • @ACiDNATiONN CHANGED!

  • @poetictragedy091 not that this is worth arguing over...petty

  • @poetictragedy091 I never called you an idiot, I'm just saying they've grown up and changed key elements of their old sound. Why are you getting so angry over that?

  • @BetweenTheBuriedAndI if you read his commentm you will actually see that he isnt getting angry at all

  • @BetweenTheBuriedAndI im not getting angry at all. just calmly explaining every aspect of what im trying to explain

  • @poetictragedy091 Okay, I'm sorry for getting into this stupid argument but whatever. So what you're basicly saying is that all music should have the same A-B-C structure? Because that would make music really dull. I used to love metalcore but not anymore. I've gotten sick off it because all songs have bassicly the same structure. And all bands sound alike. This vocals are not clean, you descibe that as a bad thing. I for one descibe it as a good thing. It makes it different, more powerfull.

  • @1234567891019 im not saying they should all have the same structure. i listen to music from avril lavigne all the way to cradle of filth. definately not the same structure, not even close, but they arent messy. they have been carefully composed, and metodically put together, not just bits and pieces slapped together in 5mins. and this isnt an arguement! why is it when someone tries to have a discussion that just so happens to go against what others belive that makes it arguing

  • @poetictragedy091 It gives it an identity, makes it unique, different. But let's face it: you clearly enjoy an other sort of music, and that's okay. But please don't critisize bands you don't like. This music is a mess. It's what makes it so special. The energy these guys put in theire songs is what makes it so good. They're unique sound is what makes me come back and listen theire songs over and over. And you can't appreciate that, which is fine.

  • @1234567891019 having a huge mess of noise isnt a good thing. even things like hardcore techno or shit like that, i hate. but still follow a certain rhythm or tune. this is just all over the place and that isnt good at all

  • ive seen people complain because someone called this dubsteb. just admit it they did use dubstep elements, crossed with a pretty poor attempt at screamo which in itself is bad as it is and his clean vocals arent that good either. topped with messy music that is all over the place, this song is really not good and is a hopeless attempt to make a song let alone the album. i didnt just listen to 2 seconds, i to listen and give songs a chance, and this song is just plain awful.

  • whats with all the hate?? i write one comment and it creates such a stir. is noone entitled to their own opinions? im not a little kid talking out of just hate, i'm an adult and i know music! whoever was complaing coz i listen to cradle and dimmu whats your problem?? they have true talent. these guys are try hards.

  • @poetictragedy091 dimmu and cradle are good bands, they do have talent, but ES do aswell you can't deny that simply cos they're getting there message out through music alone.

  • THIS IS THE LAST POTATO

  • hehehe he looks like harry hill ^.^

  • Sick wig !

  • Why...the SHIT isn't there a making of for this video?!

  • @pantsonfire00 Be patient, may be!

  • @DrNiinjaMonk ANCHOR MAAYYNN

  • So much meaning behind these lyrics, keep fighting for what you believe in guys!

  • This song is anazing and hahaha watch the singer while he's singing he moves really weirdly

  • Siiiiiiiiiiiiiickkkkkkkkkk...........

  • @AddiexD1 hahahahahahahahahahahaaha best ... comment ... EVER!!!

ps. that is sarcasm, your comment is pathetic :)

  • Cant believe they replace Rou!

  • This drummer just got the flow.. pure epicness! I love this song!

  • Gangster Phillis McCleavland.

  • one m0:00re time

  • Screw Rou's lunge check out the bassist at 1:28

  • You know who cares if its talented or whatever, its better than the shit on the radio and they clearly have a hell of a time playing. Plus they put on a great live show. And the lyric work is fantastic as usual.

  • @MrMoxapox Well you should care because these 4 people are musical geniuses and their music is bloody amazing. Of course I love and admire their lyrics, but it's their music what makes them the best

  • how can you dislike this video

    ITS FUCKING AWESOME!!

  • this is total horse shit. cant believe people are classifying this as music :s wtf happened to talented musicians. no talent here! i dont want to live on this planet anymore

  • @poetictragedy091 my finger is cramping from trying to like your comment 100 times :D

  • @poetictragedy091 Why are you here then? You came to a video to post shitty little bitch comments.?Thats Horse shit my friend.

  • @Kaceyylikesrock both me and peotictragedy came here because we were told how shit it was, so we had to listen to it for ourselves and holy crap, it is ... SHIIT!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @poetictragedy091 Said the guy that listed dimmu borgir and cradle of filth on his profile

  • @poetictragedy091 This planet would be a better place without you.

  • @poetictragedy091 Be my guest leave a never come back unless you get your ears fixed

  • @goldlizard357 my ears are fine. but i actually grew up. maybe you should too

  • @poetictragedy091 You're a monumental cunt. If Enter Shikari aren't talent then I don't know what is! They're incredibly individual and their lyrics are incredibly relevant. Tell your parents not to us a mars bar wrapper as a condom next time.

  • @Alfadger really cunt? my 1 comment pissed you off that much? such an immature person. they arent individual, they just copy what other people do and anything that you think is individual is them just putting about 4 different genrfes into 1 that dont mix. you want talent, listen to something a little more grown up. cradle of filth have some of the best lyrics! their albums arent only really historical but intricate, in depth and sometime really mythical, when it come to real life legends.

  • @poetictragedy091 They have build up in all of their songs, they have their own sound that is impossible to replicate. Call it talentless all you want, they have amassed a huge following of fans that love the music they make and have created something so unique. It isn't dubstep, there is not bass drops in their songs. It's all synth work. He, he being Rou, has a side project where he actually makes his own dubstep but it isn't in Shikari. You mentioned artist that are not even in this genre.

  • @poetictragedy091 Who are all very talented indeed, except for Avril, I'll let you slide on that one. But to compare different genres together is just strange, because they don't sing like the swinging age singers, or the 60s hippie stuff doesn't make them any less amazing. Every generation of music is evolving and they have changed metal into something incorporating aspects of other music. Just like ANY band that has ever made it big they took something and made it unique.

  • @RBraunDPlaza just like dimmu who have used much much symphony and orchestra into black metal, and works perfectly. but only if its well thought out and put together right. this song isnt. unique doesnt always mean good, and this song is one fine example. but i at least thank you for a much calmer response than most. much more mature than everyone else! everyones entitled to their opinion and im not complaining about the choice, just the song itself.

  • @poetictragedy091 No problem I try to be level headed and you aren't E-raging so no need to do it back. BUT, As much as I love this song it isn't as great as some of there others, the music video makes it. The thing that ES is, is a band that is built around making music that is simply amazing live. If you have not seen them live, I strongly suggest it, I loved them before I did but now I am obssessed, when you see them live you really realize how centered around aniticpation and build up,...

  • @poetictragedy091 No problem I try to be level headed and you aren't E-raging so no need to do it back. • @poetictragedy091 Well, All I am going to say is you should see them live. The music that they have created, wether techincally sound or of a high skill level, is incredible live. They create music for their fans while also putting out a relevant message to the world. The build up and anticipation in EVERY ES song is something I have not seen in any other band. If you are a fan of music (which I am assuming you are since you are posting on a music video) see them live, it is something miraculous

  • @RBraunDPlaza well they are at soundwave in less than 2 weeks and i am going. so i'll post what i think after that.

  • @poetictragedy091 Strongly recommend you listen to more of their music if this is the only song you have heard. This is one of their more spastic songs. But after you fall in love with the band (which you will after seeing them live) you'll laugh at the sporadic beats and you'll just imagine them freaking out on stage performing it, it fits with them. BUT, you should listen to the following, Juggernauts, Wall, Gap in the Fence, Mothership, Solidarity, Sorry Your not a winner, Quelle Surprise. <3

  • @RBraunDPlaza You forgot to mention Meltdown and Destabilise!

  • @Parkway90x Trying to give the indivicual a taste of old Shakari, I also forgot to mention Jester, Anything can happen in the next half hour, Halcyon and every other song, but the ones I picked were a large variety of what they do. Thank you though sir, much appreciated.

  • @poetictragedy091 That being said, you're right 100% and thank you for your completely ludicrous opinion, much appreciated.

  • @Alfadger not only that but singers from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s have much more talent than these tryhards. what about michael jackson? greatest pop artist of all time. you saying that these guys are better. compared to all the music out there these days they only people these guys have more talent than is the mainstream shit played on the radio everyday. grow up geez

  • @poetictragedy091 Ha! You're right, Avril Lavigne much better. Is this music too grown up for you?

  • @tomisthesound first of all i never mentioned avril but now that you do i have something to say. you have many mental problem to believe that these guys are more grown up than avril lavigne. i actually do like her despite my main music being heavy metal, she is a true talent, has very meaningful lyrics and if you have anything bad to say about a girl that hot you must be gay. now go grow up and realise what true music is. not this immature trash!

  • @poetictragedy091 Sorry but what would being gay have to do with anything? And no, I don't have to have a mental problem to disagree with you. This album is very relevant to today's society and the problems it faces. I would suggest that calling people gay and mentally ill is pretty immature, actually.

  • @poetictragedy091 WOW, you obviously don't understand just how relevant this song (and the entire album) is.

  • @BethanyAnneJane relevent or not its just plain messy, all over the place, smashed together making it just annoying to listen to. along with bad vocals its just plain bad. sorry if that upsets you, your actually one of the only people who has been civilised with your response! thank you for that. im just saying if they want to make a relevent song for people to even be able to listen to, try make in more intellectually, methodically and with much more thought. coz what theyve created here is bad

  • 2:19 - 2:22 Cracks me up every time. New Shikari Shuffle.

  • if only the news was always like this

  • 1:31.

    YEHA.

  • I've got to say it seems rather hypocritical to criticize the mass-consumption of oil, when the band have gone to America to shoot this video, after travelling to Thailand to record the album just a few months before.

"You haven't thought this one through, have you boys!?"

  • @TheAlmightyRobinator Nobody in the modern world can live without consuming oil. We need it to get to work and to do everyday tasks but it doesn't mean we can't still be critical about how the governments have been acting over oil instead of working on better alternatives.

  • Comment removed

  • @rufioftw08 I still maintain that they should not travel such vast distances, when they are preaching about how bad oil is in general. You cannot justify a trip to Thailand to record an album, when they could get similar results far closer to home. They just come across as very hypocritical.

  • @TheAlmightyRobinator In that respect, sure they can seem hypocritical but whether or not they went on that flight it would of left anyways lol

  • @TheAlmightyRobinator They filmed this while on tour in America, they didn't fly there especially.

  • anthony kiedis at 0:17

  • I've never had any real time for ES but this is awesome. Their sound has really developed. Almost Prodigy-like in places.

  • nice to hear some originality these days

  • did anyone notice Rou standing
