Una version buenasa de un exito antiguo (me gusta mas esta version) la escuche hace muchos años atras, como ha pasado el tiempo!!! y como dice mi amigo Hugo esta chica tiene una voz muy pegajosa, aunque no conozco otras canciones de ella. Muy buen recuerdo.

In the US, this was only released as a single - as a follow-up to Julie's 1971 RCA album, "Julie Budd".

However, since it was such a huge hit throughout Central and South America, I do know that (at least in Argentina), that album was released there with "See You In September" on it, with the album renamed "Te Vere En Septiembre"

The original, US release was recently remastered for CD and released in Japan a couple years ago.

Julie Budd is one of the best of the forgotten singers of the late 60's and early 70's, along with the great Lana Cantrell. Thanks for the post. I was a high school kid when the original version by the Tempos was a hit.

1) Personally, I didn't know that Julie Budd was recorded this song (really, I wanna listen it) and "I Love Your Kind Of Loving" in Spanish.

2) "See You in September" was a huge hit also in my country, Venezuela, in that time (1972-1973, I was 6 or 7 years old, now I'm 43...).

As I noted in the comments section, this was a single release on RCA. It's not on the first album shown "Julie Budd" on RCA (1970), which is the only album she recorded for RCA, as far as I know.

The second LP is on MGM and she did a couple of albums for them. It's interesting to note she did record an RCA album in Spanish as "TE VERE EN SETIEMBRE" and I'm guessing it was included on that, as there was also a Spanish version single release of the song, with that cover photo from Julie Budd.

Yes, Wally, you're right. Julie released "See You in September" in 1972 as a single and it wasn't included in her RCA album. In Argentina this song was a huge hit and so her US album was released with it as the LP's title. There was no spanish version of it. However Julie Budd recorded "I Love Your Kind Of Loving" in spanish as "Amo Tu Clase de Amor". I guess you could find it in Gemm's website as her many recorded singles of her long career.
