I had a great idea the other day. What if, when you selected "none" for your CO in a battle, you'd get The Beast, Davis, Cyrus, or Dr. Morris as your CO? None of them would have CO Powers, so the gameplay wouldn't be any different.

I feel so sorry for Davis. Nobody remembers his name, nobody really cares about him, and THIS is the music they use for him during the mission he shows up in...
If the Beast was a playable CO, I think they'd give him the Flak/Jugger CO power, just randomly boosting or lowering his damage... Or he'd get some random 'weapon' given to him by Caulder, which could be anything... That would be awesome.

@wonderiferoustea I dunno why, but I usually think of him more as having Grimm's power.
Units with 110/90 CO zone stats and his power "makes him fight serious" and actually also plugs his defense gap, bringing it to 150/110. It would suck to have to head him off in the midst of a COP boost...

They put words in my mouth in this hypothetical scenario. I'll only be at fault if I actually claim it as such. Otherwise it's there ignorance combined with their decision to not ask about the quote.

Hmm....
Not everyone assumes that everything someone says was made by them.
@metaXzero What if him/she do not answer back or cannot contact neither and the Internet does not give you a simplified answer of your search? Those one or two guys will not necessarily spread lies about you, but will surely carry in mind a lie. Of course that "Not everyone assumes that everything someone says was made by them." but "Everyone who have only heard it from you will assume it is from you."
The only way the Internet does not give an answer is when the origin of the quote is so damn obscure that its like that one person and the creator are the only ones who knew of it. Something like that Batman quote will pop up easy.
A lie they themselves created. It'd be one thing if they just said "I heard the quote first from that guy", but to go and say "They must have created it" and then blaming them or defaming them when they learned the truth is again putting words in their mouth.
@metaXzero So what you are telling me is that if you would have not known that the Batman quote was from Batman and use it as your own, you are a liar? Would I still be blaming and defaming you for claming that quote as your own? It is instinct to assume "They created it" because human nature wonders on its meaning, not on its origin.
Wait. Are you saying in a scenario that I created the same quote without knowing Batman made it before, my view mandates that I'd be a liar? No.That would just make me ignorant and a victim of coincedence.
You'd be defaming me for claiming I created the quote to those who know the truth. And you'd be blaming me for your assumptions upon learning the truth.
Wouldn't that actually mean human nature by itself wouldn't give much thought about the origin?
@metaXzero A victim of coincedence, yes. An ignorant, no, because you acquire information from a resource which its author is not applying the origin of his/her material, thus the author from which you acquire your info would be at fault. Human nature observes the quote though as to identify its meaning upon being seen the very first time, the second time though, it would trace back to the first time being heard, then applying its past meaning on the current situation, if any.
Ignorance is simply lacking knowledge of something. Being uninformed. Lacking the knowledge that a Batman movie made the phrase first makes me ignorant in that scenario.
The first person you hear say it isn't at fault for your assumptions. Tracing back to the first time you heard it doesn't mean you assume the first person you heard it made the phrase. They introduced it to you and that's it. Your view on it's origin goes to you and your mind.
@metaXzero Ignorance is not being able to accept other peoples ideals as to neglet them without evaluation. So it does not make you ignorant, just unlucky and unfortunate that he/she did not do enough research to verify his claim. Of course that person will be at fault for not only using it without properly quoting other people's quotes. This will misguide future readers who might use it as reference to support their own claims.
Where'd you get your definition? Mine's is the one I was raised up on and the one I see all over Google searches. I don't see yours elsewhere.
ONCE again, if their not claiming that they made the quote, they are not at fault for others assuming they did. Sure, if they were making a report, book or something they'd be guilty of plagiarism if they didn't list their sources, but a simple conversation or reply on a subject is not something where you make a concious effort to list sources.
@metaXzero Well ignorant, comes from ignore (news flash), but I have not looked in the dictionary and it could have a different meaning. They are at fault because since they said it, the readers' only way to use it as a reference is to mark them as the authors thus making them also prone for the authors' mistake. Everything written and said could be use a reference to support a claim.
Where that info come from? It'd make sense with your definition. But alas, I can't even find your definition of ignorant.
These replies arent literary work. It's just people speaking their mind on a particular subject while sharing their opinions with others. If the "reader" is semi-inteligent, they'd at least do a little research on the quote rather then go "I heard it from that guy. THEY MADE IT OMG!" then getting stuffy. It's not that hard to at least Google or just ask the guy.
@metaXzero Everything said or written is regarded as information, whether it is useful or not (rarely the case). People gather information depending on their interest, as a matter of fact, people's opinions are use in the census. But there we are jumping in another topic. If you do not see it as important, then thats your opinion and I respect that as everyone would. Then again, would you rather save the reader time or avoid him taking up your time
I'd rather not take up my own time constantly listing the sources of any references I make to works when no one asked or its not relevent to the subject at hand. But that's just me...
Of course, but they asked for the info. It was relevent to their interests. Their is no guarantee they someone will always be someone ignorant of the quote's origins. But me saying them everytime assumes their always is and always takes up my time even if didn't have to be that way.
I meant that assuming someone is not knowledgeable of a reference and explaining it everytime will always take up my time while being asked about it will only take up my time when needed.
@keyswordify Try making a stand in the middle. Pull your front units back and put your missle launcher in the crook of that middle mountain. Use a bunch of B copters to get the war tank. and load your foot soldiers unto your rigs to carry them further. Pull your air units in closer to the mass. Just keep dishing out tanks and b copters. Don't try to engage the enemy until you're sure you've got the power to get him. I got an "S" doing this.
seriously? All of the beast levels are easy... well at least for those who have played advanced wars since the first one on Game boy advanced. If your struggling on the beast, quit now because the game gets 100 times harder.
The best seems like such a reference fire emblem! At the beginning of every fire emblem game, you always fight axe users, and the beast's symbol is an axe. And don't forget about Batta "The Beast"!
Inorite. Raider COs would've made this game just godly. O_o
What would their CO effects be? Beast's would be something along the lines of 3 star CO range. 5 star attack boost 0 defense. However as an added effect everyone in their CO zone loses 3 stars of defense. Beast's co power takes ALL of the unit's defense reduces it to 0 and adds it to their attack.. think ultimate omega terrain tactics with losing defense. :O
And their CO power name would have been something like "Dominant Predator"- would've been so badass- That's why I wish Davis and Beast were playable....
it would be epic of not only Davis and Beast were actual COs, but also Cyrus. Since he is the son of Caulder, he would probably have a powerful CO power like Tabitha.
well i played through this game to like 2 lvls before the end.. or something like that.. all i know is that i got past this airplane part.. and well then my bro lost my game.. not that hard of a game.. a few mistakes that threw me into a hard situation but over all.. u can outsmart the comp... i wanted to play this game in hard.. but my bro had to lose the game where i was actually stuck DX
I'm glad you just had to beat Caulder to get him instead of having to play through a hard mode (which would have been annoying). Though I would have liked a hard mode just for the the challenge.
even if i hated this guy, i was disappointed because i couldn't use him as a CO...by the way, CAULDER IS COMPLETELY OVERPOWERED!

Wouldn't that actually mean human nature by itself wouldn't give much thought about the origin?
metaXzero 1 year ago
@metaXzero A victim of coincedence, yes. An ignorant, no, because you acquire information from a resource which its author is not applying the origin of his/her material, thus the author from which you acquire your info would be at fault. Human nature observes the quote though as to identify its meaning upon being seen the very first time, the second time though, it would trace back to the first time being heard, then applying its past meaning on the current situation, if any.
elchinolatino91 1 year ago
Ignorance is simply lacking knowledge of something. Being uninformed. Lacking the knowledge that a Batman movie made the phrase first makes me ignorant in that scenario.
The first person you hear say it isn't at fault for your assumptions. Tracing back to the first time you heard it doesn't mean you assume the first person you heard it made the phrase. They introduced it to you and that's it. Your view on it's origin goes to you and your mind.
metaXzero 1 year ago
@metaXzero Ignorance is not being able to accept other peoples ideals as to neglet them without evaluation. So it does not make you ignorant, just unlucky and unfortunate that he/she did not do enough research to verify his claim. Of course that person will be at fault for not only using it without properly quoting other people's quotes. This will misguide future readers who might use it as reference to support their own claims.
elchinolatino91 1 year ago
Where'd you get your definition? Mine's is the one I was raised up on and the one I see all over Google searches. I don't see yours elsewhere.
ONCE again, if their not claiming that they made the quote, they are not at fault for others assuming they did. Sure, if they were making a report, book or something they'd be guilty of plagiarism if they didn't list their sources, but a simple conversation or reply on a subject is not something where you make a concious effort to list sources.
metaXzero 1 year ago
@metaXzero Well ignorant, comes from ignore (news flash), but I have not looked in the dictionary and it could have a different meaning. They are at fault because since they said it, the readers' only way to use it as a reference is to mark them as the authors thus making them also prone for the authors' mistake. Everything written and said could be use a reference to support a claim.
elchinolatino91 1 year ago
Where that info come from? It'd make sense with your definition. But alas, I can't even find your definition of ignorant.
These replies arent literary work. It's just people speaking their mind on a particular subject while sharing their opinions with others. If the "reader" is semi-inteligent, they'd at least do a little research on the quote rather then go "I heard it from that guy. THEY MADE IT OMG!" then getting stuffy. It's not that hard to at least Google or just ask the guy.
metaXzero 1 year ago
@metaXzero Everything said or written is regarded as information, whether it is useful or not (rarely the case). People gather information depending on their interest, as a matter of fact, people's opinions are use in the census. But there we are jumping in another topic. If you do not see it as important, then thats your opinion and I respect that as everyone would. Then again, would you rather save the reader time or avoid him taking up your time
elchinolatino91 1 year ago
I'd rather not take up my own time constantly listing the sources of any references I make to works when no one asked or its not relevent to the subject at hand. But that's just me...
metaXzero 1 year ago
@metaXzero Ok then what if someone asks you? Wouldn't that take up your time either way?
elchinolatino91 1 year ago
Of course, but they asked for the info. It was relevent to their interests. Their is no guarantee they someone will always be someone ignorant of the quote's origins. But me saying them everytime assumes their always is and always takes up my time even if didn't have to be that way.
metaXzero 1 year ago
@metaXzero I cannot understand what you said in the end, but at least you understand what I mean, I guess.
elchinolatino91 1 year ago
Goddang my sleepness
I meant that assuming someone is not knowledgeable of a reference and explaining it everytime will always take up my time while being asked about it will only take up my time when needed.
metaXzero 1 year ago
@metaXzero There we are you understand my point, I think, as I understand yours.

Mission 10 the first time I played it I ended in a permanent stalemate but the next time I did in about 10 days (and forgot to save -.-')

The best seems like such a reference fire emblem! At the beginning of every fire emblem game, you always fight axe users, and the beast's symbol is an axe. And don't forget about Batta "The Beast"!

@elbowmacaroni68 He is Batta. Just a lot bulkier with a full body tan.

I thought there would be more Raider COs. oh well time to giv this Bitch a beating.
The95will 2 years ago 4
AssassinMura 2 years ago
And their CO power name would have been something like "Dominant Predator"- would've been so badass- That's why I wish Davis and Beast were playable....
darknut79 2 years ago 2
it would be epic of not only Davis and Beast were actual COs, but also Cyrus. Since he is the son of Caulder, he would probably have a powerful CO power like Tabitha.
mechwarreir2 2 years ago 3
@mechwarreir2
I also agree that Cyrus should of been a CO. =P
55GamePlayer 2 years ago
I always thought of Cyrus as a "Sonya" kind of CO because of his gentle personality. Tactics, rather than raw power.

I'm pretty sure this game doesn't have a hard mode. So you shouldn't feel too bad.

i beat it and unlocked caulder no hard mode or anything
CountDraculer 2 years ago 3
I'm glad you just had to beat Caulder to get him instead of having to play through a hard mode (which would have been annoying). Though I would have liked a hard mode just for the the challenge.
