my friend sent me this link . i hate remembering . my uncle was killed in the pentagon , i was 5 . i remember my teacher got an email . she looked at the whole class . and started tearing up . we just sat in class . and one by one students were being picked up . i remember my mom , she came for me like at 10:50 . she looked worried . it wasnt till the next day that we found out that my uncle never came back home , gosh i miss him .

I was in second grade :'( horrible day because like yu said so many people lost their lives . My aunt was in manhattan that day. Right when everyone seen the plane crash everyone started running and she ran all the way home to BRONX from MANHATTAN! my elementary school did such a beautiful ceremony and sang the song that goes " I would stand up next to yu and protect her still today and there ain't no doubt I love this land god bless the USA " beautiful beautiful . I was in the second grade, I had just moved back from Greece because my dad had been sent to Kosovo (he wanted us nearby, but not so close that we were in harms way). I remember sitting in the bathroom line, and I heard a teacher whisper that a plane had crashed into a building. The kid behind me always talked about explosions and violent things, and he actually started LAUGHING...I wonder if he remembers. That has stayed with me all these years, it chills me to the bone.

i remeber thiis Like if it was yesterday i was 10 years old and waking up to go to the twin tower like everyday just that in the morning and i was living in new jersey and i could see the twin towers from my house and i went outside and i see smoke were they were and i went to my mom and we put the news on and couldnt believe it...we didnt have news from my dad and i prayed to god for my dad not to get the train.When he got home i started to cry cus i didnt believe it but i cryed for the others!

i heard this and started crying. when this tragedy happened i was only five years old and at my school when i first heard about it i didnt know what was really happening since i was so young but now i know all those innocent lives were lost i think about them and there families that have to live without them and pray for them everyday

i lost my uncle in 911..... my aunt was a flight attendent and was going to be on that plane that crashed into the towers but she was sick and stayed home! my grandfather was one of the firefighters who died!<3 RIP i love u both, u will always be in my heart forever and ever no matter wat

I was in 4th grade. Our teacher made us stop everything we were doing and watch it on the news. I was young and barely understood what was happening. I knew it was horrible though. My mom came and picked me up early because her family lives in New York. I sat on the couch with her and she held me as she was bawling. Now that I know what happened and understand just seeing footage of 9/11 makes me cry.

My grandma works for the american airlines and she was suppose to be on that plane but she was late to work so she didnt qet on... I was 4 years old when that happen im so happy my grandma is still alive i wouldve cried so long if she wouldve died and i heard this song but it still did bring me to tears :'(
