Your Chinese Govn't was so comfortable thinking that if there was resistance it was either exiled Tibetans or in the Tibetan Autonomous Region that might protest once in awhile but these past few days shows that places that you call Sichuan and Qinghai region are not happy with China at all. I believe Chinese gov have been sincerely trying to help Tibetans to grow out of poverty. they have devoted a lot energy and money and people to help tibet, they also give tibetans a lot more rights than ordinary Han chinese.
But there is a problem, the tibetans in Tibet seem to be spoiled. They have the backup of your extile tibetans and your international support, so Chinese gov does not want to cause trouble, so Tibetans are often not punished for crimes. In general the tibetans are used to ask for free money from the Chinese gov and we hans often find ourselves been bullied but there is nobody to protect us.

In old Tibet before 1950, 88 percent of Tibeten people were born as slaves. Slaves didn't belong to themselves, they belong to their slave masters who occupied 5% of Tibeten population at that time. Slaves could be sold,bought,abused at the will of their masters!

Can't we agree to disagree and respect the personal decisions of others who are at least aware of the issues so that we might focus our energy and efforts on those in our society who do not even acknowledge the issues of a vegetarian diet, and who affect our lives more directly?

As an ascetic, he relied upon whatever food was offered, which may have been vegetarian but could possibly have contained meat. The majority of Buddhists are in fact not vegetarian, although there certainly are pockets of believers who are. For a man who has practiced Buddhism his entire life, who are we to criticize the religious adherence of the Dalai Lama?

The climate of Tibet and the areas where many exiled Tibetans reside in India are mostly at extremely high altitudes and are suitable for limited types of indigenous crops and animals. Your Chinese Govn't was so comfortable thinking that if there was resistance it was either exiled Tibetans or in the Tibetan Autonomous Region that might protest once in awhile but these past few days shows that places that you call Sichuan and Qinghai region are not happy with China at all. These lands all belong to Tibet. There was never a TAR, 1/3 of your land mass belongs to Tibet.

I really can't see Tibet being independent, because we really think Tibet is part of China, just like the way we do not think Viet Nam or Korea is part of China.
I believe Chinese gov have been sincerely trying to help Tibetans to grow out of poverty. they have devoted a lot energy and money and people to help tibet, they also give tibetans a lot more rights than ordinary Han chinese.

But there is a problem, the tibetans in Tibet seem to be spoiled. They have the backup of your extile tibetans and your international support, so Chinese gov does not want to cause trouble, so Tibetans are often not punished for crimes. In general the tibetans are used to ask for free money from the Chinese gov and we hans often find ourselves been bullied but there is nobody to protect us.

People in Older Tibet governed by Dalai was looked as his slaves. In 1959, Dalai was ruled away. He misses the life belonging lots of slaves and money so much that he want to go back and encourage those who also lost slaves to hold protest. No one likes to see unhappiness. China, you are not listening to the Tibetans in your control. They do not want your "improvements". Leave or work with them so that they have a full voice in their own lives. Listen. The violence will disappear when you listen and respect. Tibet is for Tibetans, not for Chinese.

Wait for another 20 years until PRC (People's Republic of China) becomes DRC (Democratic Republic of China), Tibet issue will be resolved by itself. China has been transforming itself economically and in 20 years' time China will be a democratic AND liberal society like in other rich nations.
